i want your opinion regarding my chances for getting admission in for Ms & Phd in economics(macro)for fall 2015. I have completed a 5year dual degree course in industrial engineering and operations. I am very confused regarding my chances for phd as i am shifting from my core field. Do i stand a chance at getting an admission? My credentials are as follows GRE-V 156-170, Quant 170-170 CGPA- 7.7( 77%) One paper in economics One international conference 1 lor of HOD of social science dept. 1 lor from eco professor 1 from math's professor But grades in mathematics are mostly c or b which is most concerning for me. As all the uni are demanding good grades in math. but i got full score in maths in GRE. Both paper is theoretical and based on statistics rather than mathematical models. Also i have shortlist some universities. Do you think they are also ambitious?
