  3. Please advise me corrections......... Films are greatest source of entertainment in every country, while telling storyline they also gives us an idea about historical or political events, social behavior and technical aspects of the country where they were made. Here, I am elaborating myself, what I perceived about America from watching its movies. Films can tell a lot about history or political events of a country. One can understand american's pain in 'Pearl Harbor', problems in Yemen and struggle witn Vietnam in 'Rules of Engagement'and about Cuba missile crises in 'Thirteen Days'. These movies portrays what the country has faced in past. Besides this, movies are mirror of any society. I observed many things about american's behavior, manners from their films. It seems hugging and kissing are part of common manners. I came to know about the scary Halloween custom from the movie 'Halloween: Resurrection'. Apart from the social system, I got to know about the judicial system of country from the movie 'Juror'. Before watching this movie I had no idea that jury consisting of members from society serves as jury for legal decision of courts. Moreover, technical excellence of country can be seen in movies like 'Apollo 13' and 'Jurrasic Park'. One can see a good combination of imagination and technology in 'Matrix'. These movies clearly indicate the use of advance technology in the country. Therefore, it can be concluded that movies creates an image about the country in which they are made as they reflect history, culture and technical ability of the country.

  5. Please rate my essay. I disagree with the statement that a live performance is more enjoyable than watching it on television. In my opinion, watching sport event like cricket match on telvision is more enjoyable then watching the same on stadium. Here, I am summarizing the reasons to support my view. First of all, I can see close ups of shots which is not possible when I watch it in stadium.Television always shows replay of nice and bad shots for better understanding of shots. Inerviews of player's and retired player's in intervals makes the telecast appealing. During the telecast commentator also provides you information about player's track record and techniques of the particular game. These additional information maintains the viewer's interest even in a dull game. Besides, watching an event on television offers me convenience. I do not have to drive upto the stadium. While watching the show I can simultaneously relax or do my other activites like exercise, cleaning. At the end of day, when match is over I will not feel tired but relaxed because, I have not only enjoyed the game but also finished some work and had rest as well. Moreover, watching an event on television is free of cost. I do not have to spend my money. Infact, I can get some money if I win any contest or quiz which was shown during the telecast of match. Overall, watching an event on television is not only interesting and convenient but also saves my money. Hence, I find it more enjoyable than watching it live.
  6. People have differnt ways of spending money received as gift. Today, I received money from my uncle as a gift. As this money is enough to buy a gold bracelet which I saw last evening in the market. I would like to buy that bracelet instead of spending money to buy concert tickets or anything else. I am summarizing below few reasons for making this choice. Firstly,I am very fond of jwelleries since my childhood. Different kind of jwelleries like bracelets, rings, necklaces, bangles made up of gold, silver or pearl always fascinate me. Beautiful carving on metallic jwels and glitter of precious stones makes them more alluring. One can understand my fondness from the incidence that when I was only 7 years old, I sneakly decorated myself with my mother's ornaments and went to studio neraby to get photographed. Besides, jwellery has important place in woman body decoration. As per our(Indian) tradition, a woman's body decoration is incomplete without ornaments. It becomes more important when there is any ceremony or celebration. I want to wear that bracelet for my cousin's wedding ceremony next week. It will go very well with my outfit which I am planning to wear in that party. Moreover, my interest in collecting and wearing jwelleries has its own advantage. As you know, gold and other precious metal's prices are continuously increasing. It is easy to find a good resale price of them. Therefore, in case of any financial need in future I can easily recover my money by selling my jwellery. Overall, I would like to buy a piece of jwellery from the money, I have received as a gift. It will not only satisfy my interest and requirement of tradition but also, offer me an option to liquidate it at time of need.
