Thanks for the note. I mentioned that I am aware of offers being out. I expected them to be more honest about where I stand on the admission process, but they decided to keep their chill I guess. At this point, I do not want to ask any further, so I will keep my hopes low regarding Penn State.

For those who applied to USC Marshall OB - The decision making process has been slowed down because of the large amount of applications received. For Penn State, - Someone posted that he/she got an offer, so I assume offers are out. However, I received an email from the program saying the decisions will be made in March/April time.

Has anyone hear from USC Marshall OB program? I was told that they will release their first round of decision from mid feb to end feb and I did not hear back .

I definitely agree with you. I applied straight out of undergrad while working in big4. I interviewed with couple schools, but rejected by 1 and waiting to hear back from the other. The feedback I received was I do not have enough relevant experience / knowledge - perhaps this is because I applied to OB with econ + math background. If nothing happens this year, I may opt for masters program and gain more experience in the right field and reapply. Let's not get too pessimistic, we are more than admit/reject.

I did not hear from Penn State, but apparently, someone has an offer from there. Refer to the post in PhD in Business. Do you have your first acceptance? I don't and it is killing me, especially because I gave notice to my job that I am peacing.

Perhaps this is my last question of the day. I know from gradcafe that Northwestern and Minnesota sent out interview invites for Management (OB) programs. For those who did not receive it and I am speaking for myself here, did you receive a rejection letter? UNC sentout interview request and I did not get it. When I asked the program director, I received an email that I am waitlisted. I am wondering what is the case with Minneosta and Northwestern because they would not respond to me.

Wow congrats, I am still yet to receive my first admission and I am really desperate for one :( About half reject several interviews, couple waitlists and rest still pending.

Thanks for that info. I interviewed with Management program last week and was told they are not going to rush their decision. Hence, they will release it in a month. I wonder what their intention is in releasing decision so late.

I will tell you what I know from what happened to me. If you are invited to visit the campus, basically it is an invite for an interview. If you are wait-listed you would have not been invited. I am waitlisted and i didnt get an invitation to visit the campus. Good luck in your interview.

It seems as if everyone is very frustrated at this point. I will give some update. University of Florida - Management (OB) sent out their preliminary decision today. I was first rejected then got an email from the coordinator saying it was a mistake and I am being further considered. I am guessing the decision will come out rather quick. Fingers crossed, but I too am very nervous about not having any admission so far.

I will answer my own question. Yes, you do get a notification on the weekend. I got an interview invite today for one of the schools I applied to.

According to that logic, can we deduce that management (ob) takes a lot longer than quantitative program? It seems like very few ob programs sent out interview invitations. I want to ask, can the candidate receive a notification during the weekend?

I really hope to receive some kind of notification today! At least from one or two schools..
