  1. Thanks for giving the URL. It's really useful.
  2. C) looks correct to me.
  3. I guess here you are tested the usage, not any Grammar rule. Hence one has to rely on ones ear. E) sounds good to me. Anyone concur with me? What is OA?
  4. Hi redindend I am just reiterating what others said here. Here is what I understand. Hope this helps. Here two things are tested. One with reflective pronoun and another is of comparisons. Is wrong. Here ‘that’ pronoun seems to be referring three genders, but it was suppose to refer Old English. Here resembling is correct and ‘those’ referring correctly. Hence B is correct. Not correct comparison. Incorrect comparison. It is changing the subject of the sentence and incorrect usage.
  5. Good Score Vineet :-). All the best for your application process.
  6. Thanks much Bull :-). 140 which we got in the above step, is that applies to both SJ and AJ !? Then what is '60' what was given in the problem. Thanks
  7. Hi Saurabh Is this question correct? I doubt! Question says: "Among 200 people 56% like strawberry jam, 44% like apple jam, and 40% like raspberry jam." We are done with the people by 44% level itself (adding 56% and 44% equals to 100%), again where is another 40% coming up? Others: Am I missing anything here?
  8. Thanks Bull. But how this concept is going to be helpful. Sorry if I sound very silly.
  9. Thanks Bullfighter. I'm able to solve it now. Ans: K = 1,4
  10. Hi All My apologies for not being actively participated in this forum. All these days held up with many project deliverables. Can some one please help me to solve this problem. Q: If the equation x^2+2(k+2)x+9k=0 has two equal roots. the values of 'k' are (A) 1, 4 (B)-1, 4 ©1, -4 (D)-1, -4 Thanks for the time.
  11. 24(a-b)=48. 24 is multiplying (a-b) in the above step. Take that 24 to other side of the equation. When you do so, it will divide 48. Then the equation becomes, (a-b)=48/24 ===> a-b=2. Hope this helps.
  12. How is B? I'm sorry, I've not understood. Please elucidate more... Thanks much....Mallik
  13. Thanks for your wonderful explanation!!!
  14. Good one. It took some time for me to imbibe the problem.
