hi all , I was driving from texas to chicago and pass by arkansas , i got a driving ticket becuase one of the head lights was not working . After I sign the ticket I saw that I must appear in the court in arkansas in July , but I may not be able to attend , so what shall I do ? Thanks,

I saw the usnews ranking and there is a big gap . But the new i20fever , rice ranking is 17 while TAMU is in the 24 position . What about the other factors ? Should he go rice any way ?:hmm:

Hi there , My friend get acceptance to those two schools in MS Computer science . what do u think is the best for him ? he received from Texas A&M before and he is satisfied with that . He says that he send many many e-mails to rice but they were not responding to him. Also he read from the net that college station is safest ,cheapest and less crowdy place than Houston . So he prefair A&M over rice . What do u think ?:hmm:

1- After 2 years do a J1 visa holder have to go back to his country ? No , if he continue to study ? That mean he can't work after he completes studying ? 2- Can he contiue studying immedialtly after completing MS ? and is it a MUST to be in the same field ( program ) or university ?

Can any others help , my friend has the same situation and he don't know what to do ? Can he shift from J1 to F1 or from F1 to J1 after that ? Is there any advantages of J1 over F1 or vise versa ?

HI all, A friend of mine asked me to rank for him these universities , I return back to him this rank . He would like to study master in computer science and his manager would take a Phd in the same field . 1- Rice 2- MINNESOTA 3- Inrvine 4- Texas A&M 5- virg tech 6- Nebraska Lincolin What do u think of my ranking ? Both of them had a scholarships from thier jobs !!

Thanks all . So for scholarships US is better . 1- What about the reputation ? Does a degree from Aust equals a degree from US ? 2- In US there a the comprehensive exam and thesis or project , but in Aust only a thesis or project , so is that an advantage ? 3- My friend got admission from Monash in Aust and Texas A&M in US to study CS both with no aid and don't know what to choose , can any body help him ? He is thinking that Texas A&M is becoimg weaker since it started to open a division in the middle east (QATAR ) ?:hmm:

I went through the web site for the Australian universities , their research is very poor + funding very low + every where u will find feeeeeessss :2cents: I think that these low ranking US universities are much better than the top Australian universities .:hmm:

1- How the NEU ranking overall ? is it good same as Boston ?

Can we compare it to Boston and Worcester Polytechnic Institute in CS ? What is the cost of living there ? and WPI ?

But are they good ? quality of education ? Is the location is costly or the university fees or both :hmm:
