  4. Precisely my point why not E.? A lot of people have answered B, but B uses passive voice “…ownership of the pre-Columbians…” I don’t quite see the error in E. The only difference between E and A is the use of “that” instead of “to what”. The way I see it A uses two words -“to what”- whereas E uses one word –“that”. Going by ETS standards of keeping it concise I think E should be the right answer. Can someone please explain!!!!!
  5. Regarding question number 3, is it correct to use "ranging from x and Y.." or "ranging from x to y...". Can someone please explain?

  9. A bag contains 3 red, 4 black and 2 white balls. what is the probability of drawing a red and a white ball in each successive draws, each ball being put back after it is drawn? a) 2/27 b) 1/9 c) 1/3 d) 4/27 e) 2/9
  10. Choice E sounds like So dogged were Frances Perkins¡¯ investigations of the garment industry, so persistent her lobbying for wage and hour reform, that Alfred E. Smith and Franklin D. Roosevelt recruited Perkins to work within the government, rather than as a social worker. Choice C sounds like So dogged were Frances Perkins¡¯ investigations of the garment industry, her lobbying for wage and hour reform persistent, that Alfred E. Smith and Franklin D. Roosevelt recruited Perkins to work within the government, rather than as a social worker. I think E sounds much better.
