  1. A circular rim 28 inches in diameter rotates the same number of inches per second as a circular rim 35 inches in diameter. If the smaller rim makes x revolutions per second, how many revolutions per minute does the larger rim make in terms of x? 48Õ/x 75x 48x 24x x/75
  2. I got x = 30 isn't that the increase? Why do you divide by 70? Oli
  3. 9 = (3)(15)(0.22-x) + (2)(18)(x) x = 0.10 B or 10%
  4. Area of the outer ring of the circle / Area of the entire circle = 3/4
  5. Acutually I aggree with you GmatGnat, (I meant D not C). I think the book is wrong quite frankly.
  6. This DS question appears in The Princeton Review 2003 Edition { x, y, z } If the frist term in the data set above is 3, what is the third term? (1) the range of this data set is 0 (2) the standard deviation of this data set is 0 Answer B. But I say the answer is C, if the range is 0, how can any of the other numbers be anything other than 3? I'd appreciate the help of someone with more insight.
