  2. I see so many posts on gradcafe for interviews. Most of the posts are isolated posts. Are the interviews individualized, as in its unreasonable to expect the interviews to happen at the same time? Or are these posts fake? Is it known that some of gradcafe posts are fake?
  3. Does anyone know if Yale SOM Finance interviews candidates?
  4. Do all top-10 US Finance programs interview?
  5. Makes so much sense lol, how could I have not seen that And @askangbuzz yes IR is definitely implicit reject Something I have noticed is that even the candidates that get into top programs has a number of rejection (sometimes even 50% of program they applied to or even higher). Really reinforces how noisy the admission process is.
  6. I'm applying for Finance, and know that different tracks have their own timeline and process... Should have applied to more programs (including economics). There is always next year. sigh
  7. The programs are really competitive so am not surprised to be rejected. Do ya'll know what does "2a/1w/6r/2ir/8p" mean? I see this posted at gradcafe
  8. Damn, Stanford Econ gave the decisions out so early -- really surprised..
  9. same here. Looks like HBS BusEcon emailed for interviews as well. @tad2020, can you pm me the programs that has called for the interviews?
  10. Yes the decisions are out on the website: "Your application for admission to study at Stanford has been reviewed by the Admissions Committee in the Economics Department. I regret to report that we cannot admit you to our graduate program. As you know, the Department gets many more applications from qualified candidates than we can accept given our financial resources and space restrictions. Consequently, each year many strong candidates must be turned down. Regretfully, we cannot provide individual feedback on applications which were not accepted into our program. I can only assure you that all files were read by the admissions committee and decisions were made with care. I wish you every success in your career."
  11. @phd2020 I know right. Looking at the patterns from the last year, most programs, who interview, contact candidates by end of Jan or sometimes early Feb. Given that they interview so few candidates, I won't be surprised if the interview invites for many programs are already out but hasn't been reported in the gradcafe...
  12. Yeah Stanford admits are real. Stanford was an anomaly this year because of the Knight-Hennessy program
  13. I think it's fake too..
  14. Someone posted on gradcafe that Harvard BusEcon has reached out for interviews and Harvard Economics has already offered an acceptance.. How legit do ya'll think is the information?
  15. For finance: Northwestern Kellogg | Interview | Email | 14-Jan LBS | Interview | Email | 20-Jan Has anybody heard from other top-20 finance programs?
