  2. earned by their employees is passive, so I am surprised that D is OA. :(
  3. I believe will is a helping verb to imply the future and things to come, and municipal is the noun. I always get confused with my tenses, and I dont think that the future "will" comes before a past tense, so I think that the answer is "will make" C.
  4. Each always takes a singular verb except when it is followed by a plural suject... My answer is D.

  6. for some unknown reason I was thinking that what was too vague. Not quite sure how this is better, but...
  7. What brought the automobile company back from the verge of bankruptcy shortly after the Second World War was a special, governmentally sanctioned price increase allowed during a period of wage and price controls. a) What brought b) The thing that brought c) That which brought d) Bringing e) What has brought Why is B wrong? 9. My ?, do you work with the stem in anyway, or do you just start picking numbers that applies to state 1?
  10. Is sqrt[(x-5)^2] = 5-x 1> -x|x| > 0 2> 5- x > 0 I got from the stem: |x-5| = 5 - x state 2: 5 > x or x But I can figure out stat 1 TIA
  11. If m > 0 and n > 0, is m+x/n+x > m/n? 1) m 2) x > 0 Pls provide detailed answer. TIA
  12. After some time, I was able to figure this problem out, so I wanted to share: If n is a positive integer, is n^3 -n divisible by 4? 1) n = 2k + 1, where k is an integer 2) n^2 + n is divisible by 6
  13. yeah, the verdict is in I am crazy.
  14. Ok, I must be crazy, where are you getting the 15 - 14?
  15. 0---:-|---:--|-:--:-|--:---|-:----1 On the number line above, the segment from 0 to 1 has been divided into fifths, as indicated by the large tick marks, and also into sevenths, as indicated by the small tick marks. What is the LEAST possible distance between any two of the tick marks? (A)1/70 (B)1/35 ©2/35 (D)1/12 (E)1/7 I subtracted 1/5 from 1/7 and I got 2/35, but that answer was wrong. Can someone pls explain why. Thanks
