Voted for pennsylvania because of it being an IVY.... but i dunno.....Austin might be a better option...

hey all, I have apped to UMN-TC for a PHD in CS but havent heard about my decision from them, and all my queries are falling on blind eyes...(sorry couldnt say deaf ears cause I was emailing them my inquiries :p ) I hope that they give good decisions real soon .... :) Best of luck to those waiting..

hey meraj congrats....admit from an IVY is soooo awwweeessooomeee I hope you get some sort of aid too :) hey i have a couple of queries about your rejects....UIUC and UMCP...how did they inform you? email or snail? or did tell you in response to a request from you? I have apped to both and havent heard anything....could you update me on this... thanks in advance and yeah..DONT STOP PARTYING :)

@eepolyu : how did u get it ? email or snaill? what about funding? to all: I havent heard anything. Does this mean a reject? I havent heard anything from them. I emailed them about a month or so ago and they said it could take from anything like a week to a month or more. Since then I have had nothing from there side. What should I do? email them again?

congrats and best of luck for funding too which dept is it? EE or CS? and did u get it by snail or by email? I have apped to CS dept to...for PHD ,...yet to hear anything :(

hmm...digi123...are you sure that UMN CS PHD admits are out...i know of EE ...but hadnt heard about CS... how did the people get their admits? thru snail or email. thanks :)

bonjour, Anyone knows when to hear from PHD-CS at UMN, UPENN, USC, UMD? Its getting real edgy now. Anyone who can fill me up about news of decisions from these schools? What stage are they in? How and when would we know them? Lemme know please.

I am an international applicant.... are you an international applicant or a US domestic applicant...is there any distinction in the timing of results between the two? also is there any way where one can check the online status... i am getting worried :rolleyes: -Ferrari
