I was searching for such books for ages, couldn't find any! Some suggest this forum to be the best, try to search old posts there are lots of tricky questions there.

stevens is good too, and you can use USnews website for more information about those distance graduate programs, and it's organized almost the same as the website you mentioned but it provides also if a program is accredited or not. the UIC classes are for both on-campus and off-campus so it's the same difficulty. the lectures are recorded and uploaded for the whole semester for some courses and for others they are uploaded when needed. homeworks and assignments are posted with due dates. you can discuss any thing with your prof. some courses activate class room discussion. and there is a project, a med and final exams, it's all the same as on campus. I'm doing my master in "University of Illinoise at Chicago" UIC via distance learning. but in general these distance degrees are non-thesis programs so you can;t do PhD later. I called CVN once and they told me it's much easier to get into computer engineering program than computer science so you need to raise your Q score. goergia tech provide distance learning too and it's a good program.

I guess no CBTs will give you the exact evaluation as powerprep, it's the closest one to the real test, and if you're scoring 500-550 on math, I guess you should focus on math and increase it to 650+, while reviewing vocabulary. don't forget 333barron most frequ. so I would say, do PP several times, review math and practice from this forum, and review vocab, guess you'll be ok. just don't panic, it's not that difficult to get around 1100. good luck. :)

hi pheonix, congtatulations for your great score, it's really impressive:tup: I agree with your statement, but did you really go through all barron+big book word lists?:crazy: or just barron WLs and practicing all big book tests? also, how much time did you spend preparing for the test? assuming your vocab level was high.

I tried kaplen's online course, and canceled it next day. it was nothing but the same kaplen book online, with extra few CBTs. it was waste of time and money.

hi, I don't wanna open a new thread, so I thought to ask my question here. when I write the gre, I'll be given a choice to submit the scores or cancel them ,right? so if I canceled them, then this won't count as I did it twice next time, and it won't appear on my record.. ?? I schedualed my exam on feb 5th, I wanna give it as a practice but I'm afraid it will affect on my application.. please clarify.. thanks

thanks rainth, this how I got it too, but thought there is a formula I missed that might help in other situations ... if you can explain this: 1*5^3*(4!/3!)+ 1*1*5^2*(4!/(2!*2!)) +1*1*1*5*(4!/3!)+1 =671 thanks..
