Personally my salary was 0. Did it in a private pharmacy. But I am glad I did it and didn't have to struggle for months to find an internship. Now I am a license pharmacist for a year.

Hi Juhi05, I don't know how it works in NJ but here in TX it took them about 4 months to send me the wall diploma. You might wana call your board to check with them. And congratulations for your license.

Unfortunately it is unpaid. It will take you abut 8.5 months.

To all of you, I think it is better that only the people who have already passed NAPLEX and MPJE would contact me because this position is in Texas and you need to pass those exam in the first 3 months of your internship if not you cannot continue your hours.

Most of the independant pharmacies are not giving any salary for the internship.

You're a graduate intern when you are doing your internship. When you've finished the exams and internship you're a licensed pharmacist finally!!! The contract depends on the pharmacy you're working with.

Yes you can still take MPJE. I think that you can take the exam 3 times but not sure.

Don't worry until you get your score. You'll see that almost everyone felt the same way after taking the NAPLEX and still we passed. The wait is long and horrible but everything will be okay. Good luck.

You'll get your results in about 10 days maybe less. You will receive your score in the mail.

Hi guys, right now, you should be happy with any salary considereing how hard it is to find an internship in this economy. I just started my internship and my salary is 0$ so do not complain! And I am driving 26 miles per day to get to the job. I don't even get help for the gas.

I live in North Dallas and all the big chains have nothing right now and it looks that it is not going to get much better. I just found an internship but with no salary at all but I don't care as long as I will get a good internship. Good luck.

Yes Jen, I've contacted all the big chains and when they deign answer, they don't have anything even with work permit. Walmart, Tom Thumb, Kroger, CVS, Walgreens, Target,... Chubbi where are you in Texas? I also passed NAPLEX and MPJE. I'm in Dallas.

In Texas, the NAPLEX is valid for 2y. So you need to complete the 1500h by then, if not you need to take the exam again :(

Hello, you now need to take the TOEFL ibt and not pbt which is not accpeted by NABP. Then the requirements regarding the internship are different in the different States. So you should check with the Board of the State you're willing to be licensed in. But know that right now is not the ideal time to find an internship. It is really hard even with a work permit. Yes so disappointed and I just received my MPJE score and passed. So all I need right now is an internship. I am so worried that all that hard work was for nothing and that I will just go back to my country.

Yes right now it is really tough to find an internship. Even though I do not need sponsorship, I still can not find anything. And they are not even asking if you need sponsorship, they are telling you right away that they don't have anything right now.

I don't know. I'm going to call my state board. I can't believe after everything I did that I could not be a pharmacist now.
