Sorry for being late!! Here is my debrief.... I am from engineering background, so quantitive was quite natural to me. Therefore didn’t put much effort on quantitive- practiced from OG (10th and 11th), Kaplan and Princeton. However occasionally gone through the posts in Testmagic forum. Verbal was real pain- particularly the time management in verbal section. Therefore put all my energy for verbal section. I gone through Erin’s posts in Testmagic and Sentence Correction (Erin’s other site) and Vreddy’s posts in Sentence Correction, and prepared my own notes on finer points of GMAT sentence correction. For practice, I downloaded 1000 SC , 1000 CR and 1000 RC and gone through the questions in timed condition. For SC and CR, at a time I used to take 25 questions for each and for RCs, 4 passages.. My self allotted time for 25 SC and 25 CR questions was 60 min and for 4 RC passages was 40 min. Initially strike rate was very poor- around 60% but gradually it improved. During weekend I took full length test from Kaplan, Princeton, 800 Score and Powerpreep. I divided 75 minutes block in 4 segments and checked my position after every 10th question. I strictly maintained this schedule – Minute left-------------------------Question reached 58 min ------------------------------11 th 40 min ------------------------------21 st 20 min-------------------------------31 st – this way in balance 20 min I could attempt rest 11 questions in much relaxed condition. This time management really helped me in real GMAT. I am a slow reader and my last RC passage in the real test was of 110 lines. That mammoth RC came when I was at 34th question. This extra time in last lap helped me keep cool and finish the test 1.5 min. before the schedule. Another thing I want to mention that I always used Hard pencil at the time of practice or test, I felt that writing with pen naturally makes my concentration but writing with pencil irritates me. But as the test centers provide Hard pencil, I practiced with pencil and gradually became habituated with it. That really helped me. I am happy with my score and now busy with my application process. Bob, OG explanation is not clear to me. Why OG says Illogical and awkward construction attempts to make merges the second verb of restrictive clause parallel to powers and does not split; punctuation makes clear this seperate action cannot be the case?

Why can't this sentence be read as - 1972 agreement reduced the amount, the dumping amount which was allowed prior to 1972 agreement. What I mean to say - e.g. before 1972 , allowable quantity for dumping was X, 1972 agreement reduced this amount. OG says D is correct - Since the dumping continues into the present, the past perfect verb had been allowed should instead be the present are allowed I think D changes meaning. How one can assume that dumping still continues- there could be another agreement, which might have banned phosphate dumping altogether.

Sorry I misread the question.... A is the evidence which will support to ESTABLISH Monroe's conclusion. So Monroe's conclusion is suppoted by the incident presented in A Had the question been- which of the following evidence will provide strongest support for Monroe's conclusion, then A would have been correct. B is the further application of Monroe's conclusion. In the question stem it is stated that Monroe's conclusion is correct (however much falacious it may be). We should not chalange Monroe's conclusion. We should consider Monroe's conclusion is correct. The question stem asked for an incident which can be supported by Monroe's conclusion, assuming that Monroe's conclusion is correct. Therefore B is correct

Monroe's interpretation : ONLY hot pepers is responsible for his sickness. He ignores the possibility that the sickness can also be caused by his poor appetite. How the effect of poor appetite is refuted in B? Suppose two independent facts, A and B, are present , and the result, C , happens: we are not sure what causes C. But when A is present but B is absent, and C happens we can coclude that A is the contrubuting cause for the happening of C. With this understanding I am not ure how B is the right answer!!!!
