Some people trust there first impressions about a persons character because they believe these judgements are generally correct. Other people do not judge a persons character quickly because they believe first impressions are often wrong. Compare these two attitudes. Which attitude do you agree with? Support your choice with specific examples. The first impression of a person is very important weather you give it a great value or not. But the first impression is always superficial because there are only few things to recognize as clothes, behavior and outside looking of a person. Even if this is important and shows a part of the persons character it is incomparable to the things you can discover when you get in deeper touch with a person. Some people believe that they can trust there first feelings if meeting a person the very first time. They might be write because we should trust ourselves about our feeling if weather like some one or not. I think this is an old human skill, a rest of anxious times when we where still living close to nature and first reactions are often could save our lifes. On the other hand if we judge to hard after a first meeting with someone, that could not be write because first impressions are superficial. After knowing someone better we will discover a lot more characteristics about him. For example during work or having dinner someone is showing much more of his personality, is he working alone or in a team? I agree with the attitude not to judge someone after a short time of contact. First impressions are often wrong. I had to discover that fact in some cases during my life in positive and negative ways. I will never forget my first impression of Angie a good friend of mine. When I first met her she was in a bad condition drunken and wearing bad clothes I really thought she is a prostitute. But as it turned out she is a professor at the universe of our city and lost a bat.

Admitting I think to relax is importantI (know, very well that it is easy to write but hard to do) and try to be self-confident. Some people say that physical exercise should be required part of every school day. Other people believe that students should spend the whole school day on academic studies. Which opinion do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Nowadays we live in a highly civilized society using cars and machines we do not have enough body exercise. That causes a lot of civilized diseases. I think we could avoid some of them if physical exercises where a required part of every school day. Beside that regular exercises in school would produce more motivated students and better students. Firstly, our students where healthier if they would do more body exercise because this keeps away sickness. For example a lot of children are overweighed or suffering from back pain with regular exercises they would be better. Beside that, sport is fun and doing it in school with others is even more fun, that will motivate students to learn more in their theoretical classes. For example a volley ball play before a math test will help students to concentrate during the test. Moreover, scientist have discovered that physical exercise during childhood is important for the development of the brain. So from that point of view it seams to be even more important that we require more sport during school time. In conclusion I would say that it is important that physical exercises are a required part of every school day. As we are a highly civilized society we are responsible to give our children a good education and as scientists found out doing sport helps to learn better.

Some people prefer to eat at food stands or in restaurants. Other people prefer to prepare & eat food at home which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. If I have to choose between eating at home or going out for dinner, I always would prefer to have my meal in a restaurant or at a food stand. I think at the end it is cheaper to eat out, it is a lot more variedly and I am a very bad cook. Firstly I think eating in a restaurant or at a food stand is cheaper than cooking at home because you do not have to bye all the cooking equipment and you save electricity. You do not have to run after a hard day to bye vegetables and meat this will save you time and energy. As nutrition’s got expensive these days you save money as you do not bye some. Moreover as I live in a big city I can choose from 1000 different restaurants I would like to go to. That makes eating out much more variedly than preparing dinner at home. There are five nice restaurants around the corner I can go to, a Chinese, a Vietnamese, a German, a Mexican and a Scottish. Or I can choose in-between a Hamburger station or a cozy nice Italian restaurant. In addition I am such a bad and untalented cooker I do not like to prepare food for me.As I never learned cooking I would never invite my friends for a home cooked dinner. In conclusion I would rather go out to eat than prepare food at home because at the end it is cheaper and better for me because I am such a bad cook and there are so many nice restaurants in my hometown.

As I spend most of my work time outdoors I like to spend my leisure time indoors. Spending my free time indoors I am independent from weather and time. As I live in a big city there is a huge offer of indoor activities like cultural events, sports, restaurant and dancing clubs. During my free time I want to be independent from the weather. I like to go for a swim even if it is raining outside and I like to take my tennis lessons even if it is very windy outside. As I have to work until the evening I prefer to do indoor activities because it is already dark outside. A big city offers a lot of indoor activities. I love to go to the cinema or to watch a play these are usually indoor activities. And I can do all my sports indoor, when ever I want. I use to play tennis once a week and I go to the gym as often I have time to do so. I can meet my friends in the dance club. And I love to go out for dinner in a nice restaurant with my boy friend. To sum up I think it is much more convenient to spent leisure time indoors because of the independence of weather and time. As I life in a big city the offer of indoor activities is satisfying. Some people think Government should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space. other people disagree and think Government should spend this money for our basic needs on earth. As much as we know right now about it we will never be able to discover it totally. We already flue to the moon, made some expeditions to the red planet and shout many satellites into the atmosphere of mother earth. We spent a lot of money on these activities and didn’t got much out of it. So in my opinion we should not spent any more money in discovering outer space, because the results are not worth it, there are thinks on earth we have not discovered jet and because of all the poor people. First I think it is not worth it to discover that the moon has not an atmosphere where human could live, because nobody wants to life there anyway. And if there has been water on the Mars in anxious times or not , who cares? So we spent a lot of money but all wasted. Additional there is still a lot to discover on earth, think about the deep see, the high mountains in Tibet or some undiscovered old cultures. And actually most important reason we should spend these money to end the poverty on earth.There are many developing countries which a lot of problems like hunger, bad education and no hope. To sum up I definitely disagree to spend money on discovering outer space. There are pros and cons when I consider the question if universities and colleges should be available for all students or only for good students. There are some reasons to make the university available only for the good students one of them is that our universities and colleges are very crowded these days. And secondly if there where fewer students we could save some money because we also would need fewer professors and teachers. And thirdly our universities where only visited by highly motivated students. But on the other hand I think as a high civilized society we have the commitment to offer a good education to all of our students not only to the good ones. We should not create an elite Think of the students who develop themselves later at the university, in the times when they are away from home, away from mom and dad. They have to be grown up people they have to take responsibility for themselves and some of them suddenly become good students. And by the way what defines a good student? only the scores? That can not be enough. To conclude I would agree with the opinion that a college or university education should be available to all students, because we are a high civilized country and a rich country and so we are responsible for all of our students. And at the end you never know who of these "bad" students will become a "good" one, if he is away from mom and dad.

So the supervisor of a company is an very important person. Some qualities of a good supervisor are: excellent organization skills, good personnel management skills and the ability to take responsibility. Firstly a supervisor has to organize a lot of things during his day. For example he has to organize business meetings with other companies therefor he has to advice his secretary to call them, to print the program, to reserve Hotel rooms and to take care for the meals. Or if the printer is not working, the boss has to take care for it. And if one of the employees is ill, the supervisor has to organize a replacement. Secondly it is very important that a boss has the right duty with his personnel. For example when he is hiring a new employee he has to see if this person is able to fulfill the requirements. He has to decide if the new employee is fitting in the team. another example is, that a good boss should be the one you talk to if there are any problems. Thirdly a good supervisor must be able to carry a lot of responsibility . For example he is the one who is in charge for the good or bad developing of the company. If the company has a bad outcome he has to fire some of his employees, he has to take care of them. That means our life is very fast, therefor I prefer do my work by machines. Let the machine do the work is more convenient, faster and cheaper at the end. Firstly I think that doing the work by machine weather by hand is much more convenient for us. Sawing a chemise by a sawing machine is much less work than sawing a chemise by hand. Or imagine how uncomfortable it must be cutting the grass by hand? Using an oven for cooking is much easier than collecting fire wood, starting a fire and cooking on the fire. Secondly using machines is much faster than doing all the work we have to do by hand. For example washing clothes by hand take a lot more time than using a washing machine and a dryer. Think of all the hard working women in former times , they did not have an easy life. Thirdly using machines is saving money as time is money in our modern life. We pay a lot of money for some machines, but at the end it is worth it. An good computer for example is costing some money, but if I thing of all the work I can use it for, surfing in the internet, e-mailing with friends and business partners and typing essays it is valuable .
