Well hiting the block after more than 3 months.Don't know whether anybody still recognizes me. Still humor can hardly be resisted to share. So here goes. ---- 1.A little boy is leaving school at the end of the day. As he strolls along the sidewalk, a car pulls up to the curb, and a man winds down the window. "Hey, kid, I've got candy in my car. Hop in and I'll give it to you." "No. I'm not going to." The boy walks on. Further down the road, the car pulls over again. "Hey there kid, if you get in my car, I'll give you all this candy, and a big bottle of cola. How about it?" "No way! Now leave me alone!" The boy walks on, quickening his pace. The car again pulls over beside him. "Look, kid, I've got a puppy at home you'd love to see. Get in and I'll take you there. You can have all the candy and the cola on the way. What d'you say to that?" The boy is getting agitated. He stops walking, and leans down to the car window. "Look, I don't care what you promise me Dad. I'm NOT riding in your Lada!" -- 2.Lenin is dying, and talking things over with Stalin, his successor. "The one worry I have," says Lenin, "is this: will the people follow you? Hi Swapnil, thnk u...plz dont thnk that degree from very reputed institute controls all threads of good admit pal!...yes, i know good instiute matters...but as far as, if at all, impressing (by default) the prof. out there or making him thnk that the applicant is well versed wth lots of academic thngs..bcoz a reputed institute must hv a good infrustructure...but i don't thnk there really any substitute for good academic records...bcoz even if someone's insitute is not so reputed, good academics means the candidate has been serious to his academic n is capable of handling academic thngs well...if he's nt well versed wth one/two advanced thng (like using advanced instruments) the prof can train u and good academics ensure that the person uses his training to full advantage...keeping myself in a US Prof.'s position i cld tell u only this. prepare well...may be u'll get a better admit than me...life is queer with its twist n turns...love ur destiny whatsoever, man!:) all my good luck to u...
