Although, Sweden showed fluctuations, but it managed to go downhill by 2007. However, Italy displayed steady growth in this arena. To commence with, United Kingdom’s CO2 emission gradually declined by 2 tonnes and in 2007, 9 tonnes of CO2 was released. As far as Sweden is concerned, it showed rapid increase to around 10.2 tonnes (approx.) from 9 tonnes (approx.) in 1997, before plummeting to 7 tonnes (approx.) in 1987 and 5.7 tonnes (approx.) in 2007. Furthermore, Italy let out 4 tonnes (approx.) in 1967, which then kept on surging till it reached around 8 tonnes in 2007.
