SUNY- Binghamton 4. Univ of South Florida 5. Old dominon Univ and waiting for Michigan state university My interested specialization is VLSI or MEMS or Embedded Systems or Wireless communication or Device physics (material science). My Profile GRE- 1150( Q-780,V-370,W-4.5) BVBCET - 73% - ENC - 2 papers at national level. 1.5 years experience in Embedded Systems, loads of hobby projects in VLSI. Please suggest me, which univ to choose. I am planning to pursue my PhD also. I need preference on 1. Univ reputation 2. Research going on. 3. Ya I know that, but I can not afford to keep waiting for that. and also Michigan state univ has acceptance rate of 8%, and I don't think with my score I can get into. So I have to finalize. Thanks James Bond :), But is not that what research going on there is equally important? I have heard there is no much research going on in VLSI or MEMS or Wireless comm... or even DSP.. UMR is well known for Electromagnetics and power I wish to pursue my PhD in one of these fields.. and defnly at higher ranked univ with full aid... will it be wise to choose UMR.
