veegeeksk Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 hi guys , i got reading : 27 listening : 28 speaking : 20 writing : 29 total : 104 i am planning for ms in cs . i checked out a lot of top universities , their requirement is 80 + . what do u guys think ? is it ok ? infact i have already reported the scores to the universities. do i have to retake the test ? i will be happy to answer any questions . veegeeksk Posted December 6, 2006 Author Share Posted December 6, 2006 i took the test on nov 10 . this was my first attempt . i never studied. i just saw the format of the test to make sure that i know what type of questions i i will get . i stammered while speaking , i guess that's why my score is 20 . u dont need to study . just practice for speaking and speak slowly. infact during the test , another method for getting a good score for speaking section is is take ur time to finish for finishing reading and listening , and also listen carefully to what other people are speaking nearby who are sitting near u . all the questions for speaking will be same for all people sitting near u . i overheard 3 topics and i managed to think of some ideas so that i could speak on that topic and i got the same topic , inspite of that i stammered.
