Yes. I am posting here one of the question in NAPLEX FAQ from NABP site. You got to select the score transfer state option before giving your NAPLEX. 15. Can I score transfer to California? California will accept score transfers from those candidates who sit for the NAPLEX after January 1, 2004. Refer to the NAPLEX/MPJE Registration Bulletin for procedures and deadlines for the score transfer program

I don't think we can even apply to CA board for NAPLEX & California without intern hrs certificate. Another approach would be to apply for naplex in Nevada (no need to complete intern hours to sit for naplex) and do the score transfer to California. Once you finish the intern hrs in CA, apply for CPJE. Please correct me if this approach does not work. -

It took 6 weeks to issue a deficiency letter for SSN.

Hi Safal, You can apply for intern permit without SSN and they will issue deficiency letter (it took 6 weeks in my case) and this (deficiency letter) is valid for 1 YEAR. If you think that you can submit the SSN within 1 year of deficiency letter, go-ahead and apply. Deficiency letter WILL NOT delay file processing (it took 4 weeks in my case). If you can't respond within 1 year of deficiency letter, they will close the file means you need to re-apply for intern permit. I hope I have cleared your concerns.

Thanks Rx_enthu for the response. I have got the answer for my question. I have got the deficiency letter in 6 weeks asking for SSN and I have got the permit in 4 weeks after I responded with SSN.

I still have not heard anything from them. Does anybody know how long it is going to take to issue intern license and how to approach them?

You need to have SSN to get the intern permit otherwise they will issue deficiency letter .

Hai, I need advice regarding notes taking for questions 3 and 4. Is it helpfull if we take notes for the reading passage for questions 3 and 4 in the speaking section. If I take notes I am not able to finisn the reading part in 45 seconds time limit.But with out any notes I am not able to speak about it. What should I do. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Is it good to work for a small company or a big one? I am looking forward to work for a small company. There are many reasons why I am leaning towards this. The first reason is that in a small company each worker is recognised for their work. As we get recognition we get more interest to work for that particular company. I am now working in a small company and I have got good recognition for myself. In a small compamy workers have unity among themselves . Unity is very important for a company's progress. In a small company every worker is paid according to their work.In such a place workers tend to work hard and try to get rewards and show great interest in their work.Workers also can go to higher positions based on their experience.There would be good interaction between the workers and the employer .Any difficult situation can be taken to their employer and a quick solution can be obtained. It also easy for an employer to know how his workers are working and can take immediate charges. In a big company workers do not have any recognition for their work.All the good positions in the company would be taken by recommendation candidates and seniors only. There would not be any rise in the positon of young workers. The only good thing working in a good company is that people get high salaries from the beginning.But hey remain constant for a long period of time.Also in big companies more sophisticated technology is used .so it would be easy for people to work there. As small companies lack financial support, they may not be able to finish work in time and they would pressurize people working there. In a big company as work is divided among many people there would not be any burden on any particular group of workers. I really like to continue working for a small company. I got good recognition for my work and I have very positive interaction with my boss. I feel very free to talk to him and discuss the problems. As we have a good rappo I try to work very hard in order to get good name for the company and also for myself.I have friendly relationship with my coworkers . we all share our doubts , get them clarified and continue with our work.We do not have any superior or inferior feelings among ourselves. we work toogether for the progress of the company.

Has technology made the world a better place to live or not? I stongly believe with the statement that technology has made the world a better place to live. Many inventions have been made because of the advancement in technology. Television,telephone, radio,and computers are some of them. With out these inventions it could have been very difficult for man to survive. In ancient days people were deprived of many inventions. They did not have proper medical system to take care of their health. As the technology has developed ,the diseases which were not curable in those days are easily curable now. Telivision is one of the best invention man has made. It helps us to know what is happening around the world. To day every house hold is using tv and are benefitted by it. Telephone helps us to communicate with people around the world. Transportation has also become very easy. With in couple of hours we can travel from one country to the other. Computer is one more interesting invention which needs to be discussed. E-mails help people to interact with each other. Students can get plenty of information and knowledge using computers. It is avery fast process.They can go through lot of material with in less time. Kids can play games using computer. These are few examples which i am quoting to say that technology has made life easier. The only disadavantage of technologicl development is the invention of nuclear weapons. People have misutilised technology in this aspect. As the merits far out weigh the demerits i strongly support that technology has made life easier. I wish in future ,many advancements should take place and man be benefitted from them.
