Thanks guys.Im glad my second attempt went well. This is how it went.
The issue was somethin to do about whether traditionalism can coexist with modernization. The argument was pretty easy.
I then got the quant section. The questions where very wordy but simple.Ran out of time towards the end.I dint get any cordinate geometry,sd ,median mode, probabilty.I got a few ratio and proportion problems.profit loss problems a few geometry problems.Overall
the problems were okay, just be careful about the time.
The verbal was next. Most words were from barrons.A few i remember are flippnacy, sybarite, spartan, hedonist, mutable. The rc's were of 30 lines ,95 lines and 30 lines,in that order.Make sure u do all the anotonyms ,analogies and sentence completions as fast as u can,cos the time saved can be used for rc's.
For prep ,i mainly did barrons, big book(very imp).
cbts (kaplan,cambridge review,princeton review,nova's)
Some tips for prep-
practise from the big book(both the verbal and quant)
the big book quant is definately easier, but each paper has atleast 5 sums worth solving.
this translates to 2*27*5 questions.
do all the cbts that u can get hold of
Nova's gre prep is good. Its got a lot of good tips.
Be familier with all the different hit lists(barrons, nova, princeton)
