The university that I am going to attend only requires me to show some funding enough for the first year. Does the US consulate require a visa applicant to show funding for the entire degree (say, 4 years)? Many thanks.

Wisconsin received all my materials eventually. I also sent them before the deadline. I don't know whether they'll consider my application for financial support.
