Hey everyone-- Can someone please help me install beamer to Lyx (just installed Lyx). The manual is not helping much -- I cannot find texmf. I got it to install to TeXniCCenter using MiKTeX, but cannot get it to run in Lyx. Please help! (I am absolutely terrible at this package stuff.)

Log into your library. Search for dissertations. There should be a link to the ProQuest dissertation database. You can find many of them there.

Not everywhere though. I know the Wharton placement for this year interviewed at my school and some of the panel were not appreciative of the coauthored paper. ... I would love to take an econometrics course at MSU.

One of my recommenders told me Minnesota is like a family -- I think that sums up what I saw. All the faculty were incredibly welcoming. For example, I brushed into one of them as we were going from happy hour to dinner. Since we didn't get a chance to talk, he called me yesterday. The grad students seem very happy... they were all eager to talk about the program and their experiences. Everybody just seemed so lively, including the prospectives. Also: Chari is indeed hilarious, Kara is a godsend, Minneapolis is awesome, Ellen McGrattan should move from the Fed to the U because she would be an incredible advisor, Happy Hour will be a must, cooperation is key, and the flyout was great.

This is a non-issue as Macs can run Windows. Also, Macbooks are amazing... That is my vote.

The best way to view the scenery from Boston to Chicago is via the air... since there is absolutely nothing to see, you should pray for clouds; they are more interesting to stare at than OH, PA, etc.
