Hi, i have just finished my gre and surprised wıth my verbal score. The problem is: the questions were so easy and sometimes i was in full of despair that my answers were incorrect.I noted down on a piece of paper all antonym,synonym questions and also the previous ones that i could remember. (i had only one verbal part) Addıtıonally, the readıng comprehensıon and the sentence completion questions were also within my capacity and i suppose most of them were correct. WHEN i saw my verbal score, i got surprised --- 370--- and checked the questions which i noted down. i think i have At least 20 questions right however the score is 370. i was in great shock that i started to prove this evidence by using the powerprep. first i had 23 correct and got 630 from verbal part then i had 22 correct and got 410 but the questions were diffrent (as you know powerprep offers different questions for the compelete tests.) how is the verbal part scored and ? is the chance factor effective ? Is there any scoring guide ?

I waited exactly 47 days for my writing score.So if you need the original score report tke this granted.And i heard that during the summer time there are more attendents. This protracts the process...

hi , i'm eager to apply for the graduate admission for computer science. the problem is when i glance at the requirements it's written that it's 20 for the Toefl speaking for example.if i got less than 20 is that possible to take acceptance ? i write an e-mail for this situation but till now there is no reply from graduate department. ? .

i attend Toefl Ibt 11 th july. I suppose that im prepared but not so much when i see the questions. First it was not hard one but the reading was really hard to concentrate.i had 5 readings and they were really hard to understand.Time was not enough for me. some conversations were so long you take notes but the answers were all detailed that you can't find them in your notes. Speaking and writing were similiar to practice tests of longman and kaplan. The problem was reading i think i'll attand one more because i can't pay attention to questions and i really dont know which will be scored from the 5 readings. i hope to get over 100 but i think that i can not.Doesn't matter... Study haRD but i hope chance is with you. Maybe if i have more listening questions instead of reading i can make better. i got nervous becouse of the hard reading questions. i read but i can not find the answers exactly time is going down.and in 2 reading i havent completed the test . Secondly be aware of the keyboard.do you know where the dot comma is ? And third the topics of the passages were are not related for me.i havent ever heard or interested about them.it's a chance but in writing i m familiar with the topic so no problem i really write in great detail. I HOPE YOU CAN GET THE SCORE U NEED BUT GUYS NEVER FORGET CHANCE IS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR.

hello, while i'm studying Longman ibt Listening exercise there is no problem to take notes.And i think Longman Listening is as same as the Toefl ibt test.So there is no need to worry:)

i don't think so because it says Compare the advantages and disadvantages of having a car in a large city. and maybe i should mention about bicycles but not compare bicycles and cars.this is my opinion. can someone make it clear?

Having a car is among these inventions.Especially in large cities, if you don't get the hit the exact time of using your car, it might have some consequences like wasting your time and money, becoming stressed, being late your meeting etc. Big cities have a large scale of population so for example in the mornings everbody is trying to go their work or at the work exit hours they try to go their homes.So there is a traffic jam on the roads.If you don't take public transportations like Metros or Sea buses you'll waste your time ,money and become stressed. These can cause negative effects, maybe when you arrive your home you'll be more tired or angry.You might show this to your family and have bad time with them.Having a car and using it can not be a disadvantage all the time.In essence if you want to go shopping or picnic when you have spare time,for example on weekends,and you want to relax and forget all weeks' t tiredness, having a car is a great chance for you.You can visit some shopping centers and picnic areas to have fun with your family. Last but not least important,having a car is like a having an ambulance in front of your house.If there is any emergency situation like illness of your son at midnight, you can use your car to get help. Finally,if you live in a large city and have enough income to buy a car,you should buy one and you should use it properly.Here properly means the timing,the time when you use it is very important.You can be either a king or a slave of it.

Firstly,in the second half of the 19th century he served in Ottoman Military and made himself educated in all areas. He started to make his plans from his youth and put in practice step by step perfectly all his life.When he attended as Commander of Turkish Army ha had won many wars against the enemies.These wars were all under in difficult contiditions.He made people be motivated and used his great military skills which will be discussed in history books later . After all these wars, he established Turkish Republic and he attended as a first president of the Turkish Republic. With his principles he advised us to follow the science to be like developing countries.He made many reforms like language ,clothing, woman rights and served for building a strong future for Turkish People. The last but not least,Turkish people accepted him as the Father of all Turks since his death we have followed his principles and build our republic on his principles. All in all, as I said before, as a hero in military, with the principles he set both for us and nation, he is the person i'd like to meet.The long and short of it's that,He is such an important figure in Turkey's history that %99 percent of the people remember him when this question asked them.
