sqrt(-x*|x|) = sqrt[(-x)*(-x)] = sqrt(x^2)
In math sqrt(x^2)= |x| (that's always true, it's a mathematical definition)
so, sqrt(x^2)=|x|=-x when x

now for the life of me i cant understand how therefore |x|=-x?
isnt modulus supposed to always be +ve? pls explain. thanks
