hi even i have got a week for my exam....i feel hell...........am still left with many word lists in barrons......remembereing some n some not....my score ranging from 650 to 750 in Quants and not crossing 400 in verbal...........I am really feeling depressed.........and am yet to give a look at the writing section......what should I do????? really tensed ..mind seems very much blocked.....:mad:

yea exactly have the test veryyy soon....... In power prep and kaplan as well my math scores r between 650 and 750 and verbal is swinging between 330 and 400 ultimate score always 850 to 1100 God!!!!!!!!!!! this is a real worrying situations have got just fewdays last will it be the same kind of score on GRE actual exam like stated in forum??? having just 2 weeks what to do:mad: its real depressinggg

Congrats vtomar gr8 score well i have got 3 weeks left for my test my verbal seems to be deteriorating with every CAT I am taking I have improved in my quants and got fixed between 650 and 750 I score around 280 to 380 in verbal always despite many effoerts to improve serious problem dude how should i over come verbal just in 3 weeks????Its effecting my score a lot and unable to cross 1050 till date even on powerprep it was my score both the times I took powerprep during my preparation may be 2 weeks ago They say what we get in power prep is almost the same as final Will score go up in the coming 3 weeks time left??? any suggestions plzzzz

venial excuse something that is excusable or minor option 2 seems to be exact synonyms which is not the answer i think the answer is 3 something very transparent is understandable

Answer for firswt questions is One i.e sum of rating is -33 coz if we have 26 -1 votes minimum of three -2 is a must -26 -2 -2 -2 -1=-33 the rest options like 12 can be any may or may not contain a -2 rating -33,35,-26 all may or may not have -2 rating but -36 should have a -2 atleast and regarding second question not clear yet

could u plzz explain how D is the answer when x=1 then we have a 0 b 0 c 1 d 3/2=1.5 e 7/2=3.5 what about E hey plz clarify what all numbers fall into integers category

but it is said that 0 is not a integer i mean neither positive nor negative help solving this problem If x is a positive integer,which of the following CANNOT be an integer? a)sqrt(x-1) b)sqrt(x^2-1) c)1/x d)(x+2)/(x+1) e)7/(x+1) I really get confused when they mean an integer........According to me when they say if integer or not I feel its an integer only if say the number "z" is either +ve or -ve and lies on number line should we consider fractions or decimals also as integers like the above problem coz as per me fractions ,decimals fall as real numbers and integers is a subset of real numbers .....what say??? trapezoid is not a parallelogram it doesnt satify the properties of a parallelogram...has just one pair of parallel lines parallelogram can be square,rectangle,rhombus in parallelogram all 4 side in which opposite pairs are definetely parallel but trapezoid is not its just a quadrilateral......and coming to question there r speacial cases like above for parallelogram,it also can be the answer,similarly trapezoid's spl case of being isosceles trapezoid has to be considered......and rhombus also satifies the condition.... any of these can be a possibility so I feel its E please correct if wrong

Hey Congrats !!! for that score need some help plzz..... hey how did u manage the verbal part??? it real hell memorizing all those words in barrons for me....take too much time....atleast a wordlist a day ending up with around 10 words still doubtful........ well I just happened to take some tests this is how it goes Princeton review Diagnostic test b4 coaching=450Q 370V Princeton review during coaching =550Q 330V Powerprep (old ver)=650Q 400V (tuk this just 3 weeksago) Powerprep 3.1 (recent)=740Q 310V (tuk this 3 days ago) this is how my status is will I be ending up with same 1050 as my score in final gre??? real scared.....i Have got my exam in mid sep.....cant rely too much on my Quants scores either coz ets can throw very hard questions too unlike powerprep.... Plz give suggestions if u can???? Thanks

I think the answer is E......coz though rhombus and parallelogram are apt also that every rhombus is a parallelogram but every parallelogram is not a rhombus.......so while considering spl cases of parallelograms like square,rectangle,rhombus, and parallelogram in general where opposite angles are always equal...I feel answer is E answers ...... rectangle ruled oput coz all 90 trapezoid we need consider spl case isosceles trapezoid which is not mentioned....so i feel it must be ruled out what say??
