  1. What is the volume of a certain cube? (1) The sum of the areas of the faces of the cube is 54. (2) The greatest possible distance between two points on the cube is 3sqroot of 3
  2. Pam and Ed are in a line to purchase tickets. How many people are in the line? (1) There are 20 people behind Pam and 20 people in front of Ed. (2) There are 5 people between Pam and Ed. Is the answer "E" because its not mentioned whether PAM is front or ED??

  10. Why not "D", the conclusion is "people in these counties stay indoors more and thus avoid exposure to the disease" Doesn't that mean if they are outdoors, they have a greater chance of getting the disease, which is what option "D" is.

  15. Baja, Even I have my exam scheduled for May end.This is my first attempt.I work full-time and try to to devote rest of the time for preparation. Even for me Verbal is like climbing mount everest.Although I have been reading the Economist for RC practise and then I have the Princeton Review. Daraverla,congrats, the improvement u have made is remarkable.Please share your thoughts and experience. Raj

  18. Ursula, You are right about reading through the passages.One should think like the author and follow the flow of the passage instead of remembering or understanding the content. Also I take whole ten minutes to read the passage and answer the Q's as well. But the bad part is I get at least 2 wrong...will have to iron out those wrinkles. Raj Thanks for the advise.

  21. Folks, I have been a passive member of this forum.But I have to thank each one of you for participating.These inputs really help. Even I am in the same boat, although I take 10 minutes to read and answer Q on a RC(from OG), on an avaerage I get 2 out of 6 wrong. Anyone , what should I concentrate more on Speed or content reading?? Thanks Raj

  24. Erin, First of all Thanks for starting such a forum.Although I joined the forum a few months back, I haven't been a active member. But as I started getting into the groove of GMAT prep....this forum is best place I could share my frustration and get new ideas.
