  1. Answer should be D. Visitors to touch and thereby [to] activate: Subject is "Visitors" and the verbs "touch" and "activate" should be parallel. We can not go for singular "activates" for plural "visitors". Also, "which" in A refers to exhibit and hence, wrong. It is not the exhibit but the touch that activates.
  2. Yea you should definately do SC-1000. But only after doing OG-11/12 SC. The SC-1000 questions are mostly GMAT types.

    A: nC2/10C2 = 1/15 => n = 3 B: (nC1*10-nC1)/10C2 = 7/15=>n = 3. So D.
  9. My only problem with A is that the phrase sheltering in igloos modifies existence while it should modify Inuit people. any comments? I agree D is wrong because it has present perfect tense.
  10. out of B and D, D can be ruled out. "their" in D is ambiguous. "Their" refers to cats or hyoid bones??? As for Who and Whose, who is used only for humans. Whose is used both for animate and inanimate nouns: § 49. possessive constructions. 1. Grammar. The American Heritage Book of English Usage. 1996 This is what the link says: "You can use whose as a possessive to refer to both animate and inanimate nouns. Thus you can say Crick, whose theories still influence work in laboratories around the world or Crick’s theories, whose influence continues to be felt in laboratories around the world. " Found an intresting point wrt who/whom: if you can hypothetically answer your question with the word him, you need a whom. E.g.:Who/Whom do you love? You love him. so: Whom do you love?

  13. i am stuck between B and D. No doubt B is better than D, but how to rule out D. Past trend of the incumbent candidate does not means that this time also the candidate will take a controversial position. Hence we can not say, for sure, that this option weakens the argument. Please help.:(
  14. IMO C we have filtered down to A and C. A says oil company can not have more than one motive. So what if that motive is really saving otters. In that case Environmentalist argument falls apart. Though i would have opted for C in the actual test as well, i still have one doubt related to C: Past actions of the company may not hold true this time.
  15. Mr. Janeck: I don’t believe Stevenson will win the election for governor. Few voters are willing to elect a businessman with no political experience to such a responsible public office.Ms. Siuzdak: You’re wrong. The experience of running a major corporation is a valuable preparation for the task of running a state government.M. Siuzdak’s response shows that she has interpreted Mr. Janeck’s remark to imply which of the following? (A) Mr. Janeck considers Stevenson unqualified for the office of governor : is the answer. (B) No candidate without political experience has ever been elected governor of a state. : Past can not be a criteria for present case © Mr. Janeck believes that political leadership and business leadership are closely analogous : Infact M. Siuzdak’s remarks shows that Mr.Janeck believes exactly opposite. (D) A career spent in the pursuit of profit can be an impediment to one’s ability to run a state government fairly. : No where it is mentioned that running a major corporation is for pursuit of profit. (E) Voters generally overestimate the value of political experience when selecting a candidate. : the word “overestimate” made me rule out this option.

  17. IMO it should be D. A leaves enough ambiguity to be inferred in both ways. What if more time spent online is outweighed by connecting less frequently? As per D popularity = More time spent online. IMO best option.
