  15. Hi, I'm very glad to rate your agrument. I think you will get 4.5 with the agrument. Good luck,
  16. Hi all, please rate and comment my issue. Can I got 3.5 The author conclude that the media (books, films, television, for example) tend to create rather than reflect the value of a society. In my opinion, both creating and reflecting the value of a society by the media are always important. We know that the purpose of the media is to provide information to people. The information can come from society or it may be is a lesson to make people better. A film can be made from a problem in the real world to refect the life of the society. A history book provide information about politic and society in the past. Assuming that there is no books, films that record all events from history, can we know anything about the culture, politics of people in the past. The media not only reflect the value of the society, but also create the value of a society. A English literature book tell me more about the culture of the England, the life and the characteristic of England. A film can made to teach chirldren about the love to their family, the behavior to their friends. Books can give many useful for childrent to learn, to play. By the media, a next generator is made, the next childrent will affected by the media they read, they see or they listen. In conclussion, we need use the media to create the values of the social as well as reflect the values of the social.

  18. Hi all, this is my first essay, please rate it. Can I have 3.5 point. Please help me. The author of the topic concludes that we should be to create an academic environment that is separate from the outside world because it allows students to focus on important ideas without being held back by practical concerns. In my opinion, I do not agree with the author. Knowledge can get by two means, one is education and other is experience. You can go to school or university to get knowledge from your teacher, from book or librabry. Knowledge is so much that it appears everywhere, not only in the university but also in the others places, for example in the street, by metting, talking with your friends, your family therefore you can get knowledge from anywhere. You see, the purpose of education is to make students get more knowledge. However, student can get them by two above methods so we do not need to create an academic environment that is separate from outside world. Assuming that you study computer science field and you have an academic environment to research. You study how to kill virus and how to protect the computer system. It's very good if you have an academic environment, but you need to apply to the real world. There are many kinds of virus the people can make so the real world is neccessary for you to practice. For me, or for any body who study in university, the main purpose is to prepare all thing for the furture, for the works in the real world. Studing should be mixed between an academic environment and the real world. Only doing that, you would be successful with your study, your carer. In conclussion, we should not create an academic enviroment for education that is separate from the outside world. This will make students have a good knowledge to prepare for their carer, their furture. Please help me rate my essay. Thanks in advance.
  19. Hi all, please rate my agrument. Can I have 3.5 point with my agrument ?Thanks 21- The following appeared in a memo from the new vice president of Sartorian, a company that manufactures men's clothing. "Five years ago, at a time when we had difficulties in obtaining reliable supplies of high-quality wool fabric, we discontinued production of our deluxe alpaca overcoats. Now that we have a new fabric supplier, we should resume production. This coat should sell very well: since we have not offered an alpaca overcoat for five years and since our major competitor no longer makes an alpaca overcoat, there will be pent-up customer demand. Also, since the price of most types of clothing has risen in each of the past five years, customers should be willing to pay significantly higher prices for alpaca overcoats than they did five years ago, and our company profits will increase." The new vice president of Sartorian suggests that Sartorian should resume production of its deluxe alpace overcoats to get more profits because they have a new fabric supplier, no companies that make an alpaca overcoat to complete and their customers willing to pay higher for alpaca overcoats. The suggestion seem to be reasonable, but there are several flaws. First of all, the vice president states that they have a new fabric supplier. However they do not show how are the quality wool fabric of supplier and the reliability of the new supplier. What are levels that the supplier can provide high quality for his company ? If the new vice president give us more information about the plans, targets and services of the supplier, it’s more convining. Secondly, the vice president conclude that they have a great market of alpaca overcoats because there are no competitors in the market. But they do not explain why other company do not attend in the market. May be the demand of customer is very low or the customer do not care about the alpaca overcoats. In order to make statement more presuasive, the company should make a study about the market of overcoat, the demand of their customer on the product. Thirdly, the new vice president assert that the customers are willing to pay higher prices for this product, but he do not provide the reason why the customer do so. They should have a survey on their customer to know their feedback, whether they are willing or not to pay more money on the alpaca overcoat. In conclussion, the argument is inpersuasive because of assumption he has made. Before resuming deluxe overcoat production, company need to check the reliability of wool supplier abd survey the market.
  20. Hi all, this is my first attempt, please comment it. The author suggests that Viva-Tech should be build the center plant at Grandview because it has the largest adult population, the average wage earned by workers in Grandview is less than other locations and Grandview's town council has offered to allow the plant to operate for the first three years without paying city taxes. This agrument is unconvining fot the several following reasons. First of all, the president states that Grandview has the largest adult population so he can staff his plant quickly and easily, but he don't refer how are qualifications of these population. His company, the manufation of high- tech medical equiment, need high qualification employees so he have to consider the qualification of population, not the numbers of population. Secondly, the author mentions that the average wage earned by workers in Grandview is less than that in the other locations, but he do not provide any information about what are types of jobs the population has. They can receipt less money with normal jobs, but may be they require a high salary with a high- tech company. The author should make a survey on how much money the people of Granview require for similar company. Thirdly, the president of Viva Tech states that the town council has offer his company to operate for the first three years without paying taxes. It sound seemly very good, but we do not know how much we have to pay for the taxes after the first three years and how many additiong payments we have to pay when we set up company here. In conclusion, the agrument is based on unsubstantiated reports and can be more plausible if the writter provide us with specific information, how the qualification of the population of Grandview, what types of job the population has with a low salary and how many addition the company have to pay. Thanks in advances.
