  1. An elected official wants to take five members of his staff to an undisclosed secure location. What is the minimum number of staff members the elected official must have in order to have at least 20 different groups from which to choose? I can't do this, it's messing me up. How do I do this both a) with using the combination formula b) without using the formula Thanks it'll be such a help also, Can someone think of a similar q so I can ensure I get the concept? Thanks!!![/font]
  2. In a rectangle that is NOT a square, does a diagonal always divide that rectangle into two 30-60-90 triangles no matter what the length/width of the rectangle? Thanks
  3. If the average (arithmetic mean) of 6 consecutive even integers is 55, what is the difference between the least and greatest of these 6 integers? -- If someone could please show me how to do this, NOT guessing at the least and greatest, but there is a way to solve this...right? I need help! :P Also, could someone show me how to do this if it were odd integers? Thanks! SIB
  4. Thanks. Yeah I had major problems with those as well. But what helped me was to take advantage of the rather large gaps btwn answers. Another thing that helped was to take my time on them regardless ... I knew each question I got right would only help my score. Another thing that helped was to think, it IS worth my time to study the graps carefully, since at least 2 questions would be based on it, it was worth investing time knowing them. Took some of the stress away that I felt.

  8. Some answer choices are quite contrary to what the sentence is trying to convey. Try to get a FEEL for the sentence, try to break it down...this works really well with the 2 blank questions.
  9. the number2.com prep link is okay...Barron's is preferred ..at least for me
  10. Not sure about that, but there are tons of awesome LSAT prep books you can use to get a hold of the RC questions: if you're pressed for money, there's always the library.
