  1. I had a terrible experience with Veritas. They say you will get 15 prep tests, however it is only 5 and of those 5, only 3 are worth anything. My veritas prep instructor himself told me this and my experience backed it up. The books are very low quality, filled with copied content (or so it seemed to me) and the whole concept that you can throw money at something and make it work just seems crazy. My roommate had a crappy experience with Kaplan and I know nothing about Princeton. Sorry to be so gloomy, but whatever.
  2. Here is a GMAT Math Formula sheet. There are also lots of different notes. Hope this helps.
  3. Thanks for this. Look at the GMAT Sentence Correction Bible (Amazon) and the following GMAT Idiom List, which contains all the idioms from the official guides (i.e., the official list of idioms).
  4. If you are looking for good gmat prep, here is the scoop from an ivy league 700+ score guy: (1) Don't waste money with expensive prep. Absolutely stupid. You can beat this test on your own. (2) Buy the Official Guide. Know this cold. If you want more help, buy the supplement for verbal and quant. (3) Find the Manhattan GMAT challenge problem of the week and know it cold. (4) Work a bunch of GMAT Practice questions. You just have to do this. (5) Leave a fair amount of time so you only have to take once. Good luck.

  6. If you are struggling with parallelism, take a look at GMAT sentence correction problem types and then examine the "Parallelism" question type. Read the explanation carefully--it helped me get parallelism.
  7. I am in grad school now and I am thinking about applying to law school. I am wondering how the schools will view my grad school grades? I've got a 3.99 undergrad and my grad school will be somewhere around 3.5-3.8. Which schools, if any, like grad students?
