  5. Question is does S contain more negative nos than positive nos ? stat1 product of all nos = -1200 even if one no. is negative in the list , product will be negative . => Insufficient Stat2 : there are 6 nos in S . => insufficient Combining , let us say s has 6 members . The product of nos are - 1200. If there are 5 -ve nos then the product is -ve . If there are 1 -ve nos then also the product is -ve . No definite clue => Insufficient Ans E
  6. the nos are -2 , 1,5,8 and n No. of members = odd no. Stat1 : median then let us say median =1 , now n can be -1 or -3 or .... => insufficient stat2 : median >1 Let us say n = 9 , in this case median is 5 but n is not between 0 and 7. => insufficient Combining , 1 => sufficient
  7. 1Q. Ponit Q is the mirror image of point P .Interchange Y coordinate of point P with X coordinate of pointQ. Ans 1 2Q . Is sq root (x-3)^2 = x-3 Stat1 x not equal to 3 => x can be more than 3 or less than 3 , x can be negative also => no definite clue. stat2 .-xlxl>0 => it means x put x =-a in equation . square root (-a-3)^2 = a+3 =3-x => yes , definite answer Ans B 3Q.A0+A+A1....+A4= 75 Is A atleast 10? Stat 1: One member sends 41 members . rest 34 , all different , no restriction , A can be more than 10 , less than 10 => no definite answer. Stat2 : A no restriction => no definite clue Combining , no definite clue , A can be more than 10 / less than 10. ans E 4Q. (mean - s.d.) 21-6 15 Ans. 12 Thanks/
  8. ricks2 / Crack it!! Sorry for late response . The ans would be D as explained above . Stat 1 In small triangle PRQ: angle QPR = 30 => 180 - angle PQR - angle PRQ = 30 =>180- angle PQR - (180- angle PRS ) = 30 => angle PRS - angle PQR = 30 , => sufficient Stat2 : angle PQR + angle PRQ = 150 Since angle PRQ +angle PRS = 180 We can write angle PQR + 180- anglePRS=150 anglePRS - anglePQR = 30=> sufficient Ans D Trust this is clear now / Thanks
  9. OA is C . I also choose A. Can someone help here /Thanks
  10. Is n 1) -n=l-nl 2)n^2=16
  11. Stat 1: angleQPR=30 Angle PRS can not be found out . => Insufficient . Stat 2: angle PQR + angle PRQ =150 angle PQR + 180-angle PRS =150 angle PQR +30 = angle PRS => sufficient Ans B
