I am not sure but the answer may be C. The intersection of L2 line & the X axis, Y axis forms a right triangle. The length are 1,1 & sqrt(1^2+1^2) i.e. sqrt(2). If you draw a perpendicular from origin of the axis to the opposite of the intersected parts of L2 then (not sure) it will intersect in the middle point. Then the lenght of the half part will be sqrt(2)/2. Now just find the length of the perpendicular from x^2 = (1^2 - [{sqrt2}/2]^2)
