  1. are you currently a E-1, E-2 or TN non-immigrant? are you requesting extension of stay or change of status?
  2. Pharmaman2009, Yes you can accept two offers from different company at the same time. You are lucky to have 2 offers and it is something you should be very thankful for. It also give you a higher chance to be picked from the lottery. BUT...... If God has given you this blessings then you should not be greedy. Think of the consequences not only for you but also to those who are trying to get hired. You should choose which one to take from the 2 offers so you don`t have to have a problem in the long run. When you are decided then inform the company ahead of time so they don`t have to petition you for H1B visa and that means you have given another applicant a chance to be sponsored too. This is just my opinion , I also believe that being greedy will make you end up with nothing in the end. Just an advice, always pray and seek for HIS guidance and the strength will follow.
  3. Did any of you know the rate of walgreens that is being offered to interns? how could others say that walgreens offer higher where nobody can even tell how how is really being offered by walgreens? Can anyone tell how much is being offered by walgreens.
  4. hi farmagenius, congratulations. maybe you already submitted all your documents that`s why your offer letter came in... congratulations
  5. Oh I see. So there is really a difference. anyway hopefully it will not be a problem. chao
  6. to farmagenius, why do you think they are changing the way they process H1-B visa now? Did you get a first hand information that others got their offer letter before filling H1-B visa? but anyway at least I now know if and when i will apply in the future. For the others, please tell us if you already got your offer letter too so we may know that these companies do still sponsor. thank you.
  7. Oh my, a friend of mine said she already received a message from rite-aid asking for her documents for the application of H1-B visa. Could this be true?????????? Did anyone received any of their too?
  8. 4 weeks after I mailed it. I sent it on a priority mail with all pertinent document then after 4 weeks i received it in the mail. i`m in new jersey by the way. i
  9. Thank you farmagenius for the information. It was a big help. Did any of you received any idea if the company will sponsor you for this year. Its already march 6 and i read from the old threads that at this time they already signed their papers. hope everybody will get their sponsorship soon. Goodluck to all of us.:)
  10. I am just curious. how does it usually work? the sponsorship process. I hope somebody enlighten us new ones here. tnx
  11. mine is 4 weeks from the day of mailing.
  12. Why is it that they are communicating slowly this year. I checked out the threads last year and I noticed that at this same period, almost all of the applicant were already given letters and that they are being sponsors. any thoughts???????????????
  13. It is very frustrating how we the International pharmacist are trying to get a job in the USA. I can not believe how I was able to get through all the challenges of the FPGEE Exam and the TOEFL ibt and END UP not getting any job from the chain drugstores. Why should the USA open their doors and make it narrower as you get close to the finish line. It is really very challenging in any way you see it.I just would like to point out that hopefully somehow somewhere we will see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is also a warning for those who wants to start with this endeavor, you must be prepared of what ever comes your way because it is not an easy way in . There is a very big complicated obstacle ahead of us so be very prepared for it. It doesn`t mean that if you were able to pass the FPGEE and TOEFL and thats it, NO. not so fast because there will be more frustrating and disappointing moments to come. With all of the obstacle ahead, bear in mind the joy and sweetness of success in the end, as they say. For me , I`m looking forward to this day that I can say "I made it.....at long last".
