  1. I got into Princeton with a D in realy analysis even. I would suggest that if you decided to do a phd then just try your best.
  2. I agree the comments about reapplying from TSE, and entering a top5 program is rare though one reason is that most good students were staying.
  3. Well, I got into Princeton, but rejected by Pittsburgh...
  4. Similar questions as mine three interviews this year. Eds, I guess you can find more information in the Business sub-forum, though no idea whether there will be a different from your interview.
  5. I would say the former one. The number of admissions varies I guess.
  6. I got an email a couple of days ago from Bewley, saying that probably you will know on April 15 or only a little bit ealier if there is any position for people on the wait list and at that time quick responces by phone or email is more important than your ranking on the list. Anyway, I am going to withdraw it. Since except me there are five guys on the list and they should get the same informaton as me, my post may not be helpful, but just keep it for future.
  7. You are so kind! May I ask how long it will take from Princeton to Penn by bus, car?
  8. I have asked. All admissions are sent out. Wait list will be done this afternoon.

  10. April 1st. Secretary @ columbia told me this, she also mentioned NYU's result is out but it seems not according to TM/GF. I've no idea....
  11. Hi HYY, I was doing M2 ecomath last year. Last year ecomath has 43 students, and M2 overall 74 students. Around 25 students got into Phd program, including several with outside funding. Basically, it's grades(11 courses) plus master thesis (counts for 4 courses)

  14. Well, I had a D for real analysis.... I mentioned in Statement that I had spent too much time on other things and neglected it. I am not sure whether my statement is read or not, but according to my result by now it seems this D didn't kill me.
