While we understand your frustration and impatience, we ask you to understand that these inquiries only delay our process. The ability to check your status online is designed to curtail these interruptions and provide you with your answers. Please do not worry if your online status still says “incomplete.” It will continue as “incomplete” until your decision is entered. We are still reviewing the last 100+ applications (out of over 550), and re-reviewing others. We plan to admit another 20-30 students. We hope to complete these decisions in the coming week, as we need to begin making financial aid offers. Let me also reassure you that you need not worry about any missing documents. We are reviewing all applications, regardless of which documents have been received. We do not want to overlook a good student simply because a document may have gone astray. We have been reviewing any unofficial transcripts that you submitted with your application; this allows us to speed up our process. If we need a document in order to complete our decision, we will certainly contact you. Some of you have been contacted already, and asked to submit Fall 2010 grades, or a legible unofficial transcript, etc. We appreciate your prompt responses to these requests. Still haven't heard from UVA either. There have been 2 UVA rejections on gc over the past few days, dunno whether they are fake or not......

I was just about to ask, if he got rejected from Yale/MIT and waitlisted at Stanford, what in God's name do those profiles that made it into those places look like?

Did anyone else upload their transcripts on UVA's application but it still says not received for transcripts? I know it has that message in red about the application still saying incomplete but now I'm worried.......

Do we even know if those UVA rejections from last week are real? There's only one confirmation on TM and it's from a user who has 4 posts.......... (no offense)

Mine still says incomplete for transcripts received, and I'm pretty sure that was one of the schools where you can upload them on the application. Although, the page says your status can still be incomplete even if they have all the materials...... So is it good if we haven't heard from UVA today? :-/

Hi ARrocket - don't despair too much, I was in the exact same position as you. I had horrible grades, even worse with F's and W's my freshmen/sophomore years, but was a "turn around" student and finished my last 60ish hours with a 3.8 and great letters of recommendation. I didn't get into a top 10 or anything, but just got a fully funded offer from a great school, so it's definitely possible. If you work hard and pull of the grades you project you will get, as well as secure good LORs, you have a good shot. If you're aiming for top 10, who knows maybe you need a master's I'm in no position to advise,......... but I did want to let you know it's possible. Best of luck to you! Disclaimer: n=1
