So you wise ones learn from my mistake. Now that I think about it, I should have plan B instead of crying and rationalize my situation. I persuaded with visa that would allow me to come to the States and be able to support myself financially. I didn't look at any other alternatives.... I should have prioritize to take the exam and get license instead of worrying about the visa, work, and support the family.
If you don't mind my asking, what country are you from? If you are from any visa waver countries, you can come for tourist visa for short stay for exam. Friend of mine had a family member who violated the US immigration law so she wasn't allowed for visa waver. She ended up going to Cananda and drove the night before the exam from Vancouver to Seattle to take the exam and she took off from the States right after the exam. I went to meet her at the US/Canada border and drove her to her testing site.
Unless you are license, there aren't that many opportunities for you.
