  1. Hi wood, You did a great job. Congratulations ! Let us know when you get responses from Columbia and Brown. Best of luck. Dilshod[tm]
  2. Congrad`z ! Good luck with your GMAT exam! Peace out!
  3. Thanhuvic, Can you find rankings of Liberal Art Colleges ? In advance, thanks. Dilshod :)
  4. Hi Ketan, Hope you are doing well... I think you'd better wait for responses from other schools you applied to because it is very difficult to pay 24k$ a year (by the way, did you applied for bachelor or master degree ?). Maybe Utah, Irvine and UIC will offer some financial assistance. But if you have an opportunity to pay that amount of money you may say "Yes" to admission stuff, but don't send documents untill you have responses from universities mentioned above. Their decisions will come soon. What about I-20, I think American embassy won't allow you to get F-1 visa with two or three I-20's at one time. You should go there with one form from one university. Hope that helps. Break a leg! Dilshod :)
  5. Hey Ihuyvn, Don't worry buddy. Just relax, go somewhere with your girlfriend, make a party and invite some good friends, listen for Nelly Furtado for a while and everything will turn out fine ! Hope you will get your 227. But why exactly 227 ? Hey, you know what ? I will pray for you before I go sleep. You'd better pray too because God always helps everyone who is sincere with him. Dilshod [dance]
  6. Syphon00, I think you do not have to take TOEFL exam and more than that you are considered as a native speaker if you graduted from the Hight School that situated in the English Language speaking country. Thus, the only exams you have to take are SAT 1 (or 2) or ACT for undergarduate school, but believe those test are much harder than TOEFL. Good luck! Dilshod

    'is' or 'are'

Absolutely agree with Tanya. The words like congress, jury, team, organization, group, crowd, government, committee, club, army, family, class, public and some others must be used with single verb, but not always. Sometimes it depends on the context and you have to learn to "FEEL" when to use singular or plural verb. Dilshod

    a question

This construction of sentence involves the using of inversion. When clauses begins with word “SO + an adjective or participle" occur at the beginning of a sentence we use inversion. In my opinion the right answer is "D" and the sentence should sounds like this: So impolite in manner was she when treated him as if he were her servant on (at) that party.
