  7. Hi Guys, the results are out for the 2011, April FPGEE. Got a passing score even though I thought I did so bad on teh exam. Good luck to all and I am sure all of you will be sharing ur good news soon.
  8. This is the reply I received from the NABP. I encourage all you guys whose exam got delayed to let NABP know about this situation as this delay was randomly spread across the country. "Thank you for contacting the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) regarding the delay experienced while taking the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination® (FPGEE®) at the Pearson VUE professional test centers on April 14, 2011. NABP is working closely with Pearson VUE to investigate and evaluate the situation. Be advised that you will be contacted by Pearson Vue to address your comments within the next 30 days".
  9. Guys, please direct your concerns regarding the delay of the examination to the email address below. Following is copied from NABP website. " NABP recognizes that some candidates experienced challenges during the April 14, 2011 FPGEE. Please direct your questions or concerns regarding the April 2011 FPGEE administration to FPGEECustomerService@pearson.com". If people are interested, they can also go to the NABP website and click on "Report Exam Irregularity". THis is a good way of letting NABP know the spectrum of the exam delay across the country.
  10. Finally acknowledgement from NABP as posted on their website: "NABP recognizes that some candidates experienced challenges during the April 14, 2011 FPGEE. Please direct your questions or concerns regarding the April 2011 FPGEE administration to FPGEECustomerService@pearson.com". Mail your complaints guys.
  11. Well, it is reassuring to know that I alone did not feel that the exam was hard. I was told by my friends to skim even CPR as it is too detailed. Even if I had studied all the CPR, it would not have helped. Looking back at the exam I don't think reading/studying anything differenty would have made any difference. I think the exam was pretty heavy in CVS, Renal, diabetes stuff. I don't think I can find most of that stuff even in any book. There were times when I longed to see a question that I could confidently answer.
  12. Hi All, Let me start off this thread. The experience started on a wrong foot. We were scheduled to take exam at 8.30a.m, but due to some technical trouble it got delayed. We started our exam around 2.30 pm. They told us that they were having this problem all over country and were fixing it one center at a time. My preparation level was not that hard core. I had done Manon shroff, some CPR and internet. I found that lot of questions were focussed on drug interactions, CVS, renal, diabetic systems. A deep knowledge in these areas especially of ADR is pretty useful. There were not that many calculations, nor any structures. 10-20 % of the stuff was totally unheard. My impression was that using the standard books for preparation for this exam is not enough. Overall it was a lot of guessing game. Maybe my preparation was subpar, but I would be very interested in hearing about other people's experiences. Thanks
  13. Here is an update on my situation. I finally got approval letter from NABP. I had to send them my original documents through my pharmacy council and that worked. Hope it helps others here.
  14. I would be interested. Please let me know how much are you asking for.
  15. Hi, If anybody is selling the study material for FPGEE, please let me know. I would be interested in buying it. Thank you.
