  15. I've answered about 40 problems and I'm stumped with this question, I know you guys can answer this in a snap the question is in here ( I would have typed it but it's better to see the actual diagram) IMG_0252.jpg picture by ultdm - Photobucket answer 1. (D) Using the coordinates of the points given, a right triangle may be constructed as shown. Notice that the horizontal length of the triangle is 6 ; its vertical leg is 8 . Therefore, it is a 3-4- 5 right triangle . Its hypotenuse (side AB) must be 10 . My question is that how did it come up with the horizontal length of 6 and a vertical leg of 8. A detailed explanation would be great! thanks!
  16. I think it's B. 7.20 As the problem states the lowest possible price of a toy costing $16 $16.00 x 40% - 16 = $9.60 $9.60 x 25% - 9.60 = $7.20 B.
  17. I just used trial and error for this. I tried E. first, 360 x 6/10 = 216 480 x 4/10 = 192 total = 408 which is wrong I tried D, 360 x 6/10 = 216 460 x 4/10 = 184 total = 400 which is correct.
  18. 1st Journey Distance = rate X time = 40mph(2hrs) = 80 miles 2nd Journey Distance = rate X time = 80mph(3hrs) = 240 miles Sum it all up, 80+240 = 320 miles / 5 hours = 64 miles/hr
  19. You're not making any sense. Tell us your score and its Q/V equivalents so as to determine your strengths/weaknesses... You might as well just quit if I were you or sign up at an expensive prep course, say Manhattan or Kaplan... See if that works out... Good luck!!!!!!! :D

  21. Most prestigious US Colleges/Universities require a 3.3+ above GPA and note that this is just the MINIMUM, averaging of about 3.6-3.7. A 3.7 GPA? And a grammar like yours? Please go to a decent grammar school before posting anymore of your filth. How old are you? 12? I'm sorry but your grammar needs a lot of tweaking.
