thank you very much! this forum was very helpfull during my journey to become rph in usa. THANKS. I started rph procedure in 2008, dec. it took me four years to become rph. Toefl was the toughest one. BBOS; naplex is relatively easier exam, if you study for 1 month 8 hrs a days, will be sufficient. Math is very imp. if you want pass naplex, know ur math really well. I had both fill in the blanks and multiple choice questions. THEY ask to round the value (e.g= if your result came 10.5, what will be round value 10 or 11). use only one to study. i used rxprep and solve the questions from rxprep q bank and got some material from the us graduates. tony - i am in texas....so i dont know much abt ca cpje. i passed mpje last moths. thanks !

i got my result yesterday and passed naplex,too. I used rxprep and think that it is sufficient to pass neaplex. use only one sourse for your studies. know your calculations really good. it is very imp to pass naplex.

i am inetrested in that book; let me know how ? if i stidy it once,is it enough to pass naplex, do you have rx q bank?? does rx q bank has explainantion for the answers??

Hi smiley; thanks! federal part i studied from hall and reish (its very imp to pracitice question at the end of the book) and for state i studies- book provided by the la board. key point is-- practice sample questions as much as you can.

passed LA mpje with the score of 85; thanks God and all of you for help and support....

i'll call board monday! congratulations on passing your naplex. I already paid MPJE, naplex fee online at NABP WEBSITE and sent my pharmacist application with $300 to the pharmacy board. Now, waiting for them to reply. lets see how much time they going to take, but anyway i am going to call them tomorrow. please guide me for Naplex,too. if you have any material to sell please let me know. thanks for ur help!!

hi Caymanrx; what about Naplex? are u planning for naplex after mpje?? I was told by my co-worker, who is Pharm D from usa, that Louisiana law is stricter than the federal law. So, if you know everything about the stATE laws, then no need to read federal law. Also, you dont have to buy state law book from labp. book is available on their website. I applied with board $300 fee and application couple weeks back, but i dint hear anything please let me know if i am missing anything. I am also planning toi take law by end of this month, but dint hereanything from board?

here is the formula for question 2; total drug(ZnO) / total volume = concentration (10%) in this question Now, total drug= (1.5 g+ X) total volume= (30g+ X) (1.5 g+ X) / (30g+ X) = 10 % => 10/100 cross multiplication; (1.5 g+ X)100 = (30g+ X)10 150+100X = 300 + 10X 150=90X X= 150/90 = 1.6666 ans Thanks . please correct if i am wrong... guys please participate is this...

you might be thinking 170 is corrct,but if you add 170 gm , then total volume =3400+170=3570 & total amt of ZnO= 340+170= 510 now, 510 in 3570 then, ?? in 100= 14.28% (not 15 %) if you 200gm, then total volume 3600 total ZnO=540 540------3600 ???------100 = 15% i was able to solve it because you provided the ans. its difficult!!
