michael as mansi pointed out earlier, splice means to tie up the free ends of two ropes together...as in splice up, there seems to be no reason for taking splice as spliced(which means the opposite).:hmm: so going by the question strictly, i think we can comfortably eliminate spliced. hence we are just left with the option E. what do u say??

dude...here's the websters definintion of incubation- "the phase in the development of a disease between the infection and the first appearance of symptoms " this "phase" is what i am reffering to. hope its more clearer now.
