.....got ya.... I knew you would read this if i ask you for your opinion :encouragement:!!!
But to be serious, I recently finished my first semester in my masters. My first goal was to obtain a Phd in the long run but i am not sure anymore. One reason is that I did not perform as well as usual and some exams realy gave me a hard time. And at the end, my grades were average. I gave myself deadline (september) to decide what to do in the future (phd or not). This is just my background and one thought I carried around the last time. But do not misunderstand me, I am in a good mood.
The question i would like to address to you is: Since I can choose only one specialisation, I am wondering what to choose. In general, I have two hearts in my chest. One is bumping for Macro and the other for Micro.....! Actually, there is a tendency for Micro. We have a field called Applied Microeconomics. And in this field, i am somewhat interested in behavorial economics and neuroeconomics...
The question: Since I really would like to connect my profound knowledge in quantitative methods with my specilization, do you think it is possible in this field?
Thx
