Here's my attempt: A, E - Eliminate 'because' is not the correct usage in this formation The reason......that.....( Perfect!) B - 'have' - plural , therefore - incorrect D - 'Qualified to' - Unidomatic...'one always qualifies for a position, for a seat, for the finals etc etc hence, 'C' is the best
