hi all i actually decided upon SUNY Stony Brook long time back, but since i still havent received the i-20 from them ,i think i wud be joining USC then. To give u some more "almost official" stats about starting salaries for MS graduates in CS: "Stony brook graduates get atleast 60-65k to start with(average amount)", i wonder then if the USC information was correct ,coz USC is a far more reputed and famous school.. neways... gud luck vipin

I had applied to Univ of Arizona for MS(CS) for fall 2005.My gre and toelf scores were 1400 and 287 respectively.My aggregate percentage was 80%.I was denied admission. On the other hand a guy from my university with 1190 gre ,263 toefl and 76% academics got admission. This is a little surprising for me to comprehend. oh by the way which is better? UoA or Stony Brook??? cheers vipin

hi all i just got an admit 4m USC and NorthEastern Univ...these are the folowing univs that i've been admitted to. syracuse suny stony brook ncsu u of iowa ut dallas USC NorthEastern Univ I am planning to go to SUNY taking all the aspects into consideration..i hope my selection is fine...(any suggestions) Also, im still waitin for 2 univs including TAMU.But the problem is i hv to send an acceptance reply by 15th april.Is ne1 too facing such a situation.we cant reject the ofer once we've sent an acceptance fpr admission rite?? plz suggest wut shud i do... thnx a lot vipin

hi all .. just got an admit email 4m the Univ Of Iowa for MS(CS) (without any aid)...they'll be sending the i-20 soon.this is my 5th admit...im totally confused...infact really sad after seeing this tht i didnt apply to higher ranked univs.. my admits: Syracuse(40% tuition grant) Univ of Texas at dallas SUNY Stony Brook NCSU UIowa still waiting for a few others (TAMU and USC being the higher ranked of the lot) :( any kinda help or suggestion wud b really appreciated. thnx vipin *i m interested in Computer N/ws and wud ideally want 2 go 2 a place near New Jersey(although thts only a small preference)
