NCSU(Raleigh) is a better admit than USC. The acceptance rate of USC is much higher than that of NCSU. But do consider other parameters too like present research work, placements, etc Hope it helps! Ankush Chadha :tup:

Thanks for helping me out, but except expenses, can you tell me the other reasons. I am interested in distributed applications(p2p). My aim is to get quality education and to get a good job. Please comment! And hey, anyone received a hardcopy from Stony Brook University, as the last date to give them a response is 15th April. Frankly speaking, my suggestions were based only upon the rankings, I dont know the pragmatic thing going in these universities. Thanks for giving me the info gforce. I read your comments but want some info about that university like you mentioned in the previous message. And secondly, is Drexel University better or Stony Brook University or USC. Try to email Mr Ambrose, he usually reply within few minutes or max a day. You have to mention your application id, etc so that he can gain access to your database. If you have an admit from CMU and if you can handle the expenses, then dont enroll in this university as there is a huge difference in the un-official ranking.
