Mailed NYU, Got rejected :'( Moved on :)

Regarding Georgia Tech, I know a person who got the offer and declined last week. I feel, they will make fresh decision this week. All the best.

At NYU, I have not had interviews, however I have not been rejected yet. Are there people in similar situation? Is there any hope.

As April 15 comes closer, Wanted to know is there any probability of getting an admit if you have not been contacted at all.

Unfortunately no, The college I am wait listed has increased the timeline (again!!) to 10 April now. I just wish colleges could be less risk averse and just let us know if we are accepted or not. Will help us move on.

I feel UF is better as it's better ranked. However your interest and particular b faculty should dictate your choice. All the best.

I am in the same boat. I had two offers ( withdrew one) and wait listed at one place. Just have to wait I guess. Things will clear in last week of March.

Any info on: Nyu Duke UCLA Cornell USC Olin Purdue Penn State I could see interviews for all of them on gradcafe. Should one take it as a reject. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Not sure, They might interview some later or take without interviews. However, the odds seem unlikely. Good thing is we haven't seen anything on grad cafe so maybe only one or two guy might have been contacted.

I enquired as well. Purdue: Not Started Cornell: they have talked with few students, but have not decided yet

Hi, Ask for extension. Hopefully they will extend, in which case you would be happy. If they don't extend, accept the offer and then reject once you get better offer. They would be unhappy, but they must be having this situation quite a lot (since they don't give extension). Hopefully they will forget.

One of the best results I have come across. Congrats for so many interviews.

Same dilemma here, I feel, you could contact them if you have seen interviews on gradcafe. Add that implicitly means a reject, and they will be able to convey the same. However for colleges with no gradcafe results, better to wait till March first week.
