  3. Hi Bright. I wish!!! I've been accepted to U. of Southern California and U. of Texas but still looking for funds to cover tuition and fees, since I do not have a lot of $$$$... If I do not get enough money I will study part-time MBA somewhere in Canada. It's been hard for me to find a scholarship here in CAN for an US MBA Program... I guess because my scores and resume are not that impressive...But...I will not give up...
  4. Thank you GMATbong for your reply. VU is not that bad... It is ranked #45 among the best US MBA Schools, over Rice University, according to US News.
  5. York U. is best. It is ranked #4 among best MBA programs in Canada. Source: http://www.infozee.com/channels/mba/canada/mba-canada-rankings.htm
  6. Hi Bright, Greetings from Edmonton. I think you can find the information you're looking for in the following link: http://www.infozee.com/channels/mba/canada/mba-canada-rankings.htm And, why are you aiming to medium ranked schools?... Think big.... you will be surprised of the results. Regards, Roger
  7. Hi takeone, I applied to weekend MBA also, thinking that with my score I would have more chances to get into Haas B-school. Mi profile is not impressive (unlike yours!)... I am an insurance consultant, with my own office here in Edmonton. Worked for ING Canada for 2 years and for Molex Inc. for another two. I have a B.A. in finance with a GPA of 3.8... Later I changed my mind to a full time program in L.A. with USC, a very good school I think. Good Luck if you're trying again.
  8. Hi takeone, I got a rejection letter from Haas with a 610 GMAT score. Hovewer, my admission consultant told me that my GMAT score was not the only factor. He said also, that my GMAT score is compared with all the international applicants... Since you are from India, and I think there are better scores among the indian applicants to Haas than yours. I suggest you retake only if Haas is your first choice and you really want to enroll to that school. I will go to U. of Southern California. I am a canadian citizen and I know about other canadian friend who got accepted into Haas with a 670 score. Hope this helps. regards, roger.
  9. Hi everyone, I just got a scolarship proposal from this university, but, I was wondering if this is a good school. Dos anyone know if it is? Have you heard something about Vanderbilt U.? It is based in Nashville, Tenessee. Thanks. Roger
  10. You can hire a Princeton Review consultant to help tou with your application....
  11. According to Business Week Online (2004 Ed.), UT Austin is ranked 19th among the US Top 30 best universities for MBA. Congratulations!.... Austin is peaceful city with a lot of things to do.
  12. Hi gokul, LA is Los Angeles or Luisiana?.. Je If it is L.A. two very good schools are UCLA and USC... I will be applying to The University of Southern California... www.usc.edu I believe that UCLA is No. 15 and USC 22 or something like that...
  13. Hi All, Has anyone heard about Purdue University? Is it a good Business school?.. If so, do you know if it well ranked?... Thank you for your comments ! Roger
  14. I think your score is quite good. A have a brazilian friend (female) that got into MIT with a 580 GMAT score so, do not worry too much.
