  1. But, OG uses who or whose to refer to people. I guess its the question of preference, out of 'who' and 'that', who is better for referring to people, but otherwise 'that' can always refer to either people or things.
  2. Rule1: which --> which can be used only for things. that --> that is used for things as well as people/group of people As well, can someone confirm if 'that' is always singular, where as 'which' might refer to singular or plural things. One more thing: Since 'which' is usaully set-off with a comma, it is often more ambiguous since it can refer to multiple nouns before the comma.
  3. Swadeep, Congratulations on your GMAT and TOEFL score. You will surely get into your favourite school. I do have few questions: What are the best tests to write during the last week of GMAT preparation? How do you rate PR and ARCO tests, especially when compared to Kaplan's? What would you recommend during the last week of preparation? Any special tips?
  4. Great post, Great Score and Wonderful attitude. Congratulations!! Can you as well share more of the list of silly mistakes you listed? I liked your list and looks like these are frequently made mistakes.
  5. I would choose D as well.
  6. Here is what I have got: D, B, C, B, A, B, D For 7th, I am not sure, if the 3rd hypothesis refers to the water waves. I think the waves are air waves.
  7. Yes, I would choose A. The equation boils down to 2 X to be -2 or 4
  8. The choice was between D and E. I choose D initially, however E sounds better because of wrong usage of 'includes' in D.
  9. I would go with D and B.
  10. My answers are 'C' and 'A'.
  11. For GMAT, Square root of a number is always positive. Hence, the answer is 'B'.
  12. I would agree with the answer 'A' to question 7. Square root of X2 is always |X| which is -x when X is less than 0. Can someone share the answers for 13 question? I was wondering, if 3560 should be divided twice or only once. I think it should be twice as it is referring to area and square feet. Thanks.
