Joe, You have bought the book and that is fine.However,from my experience,for preparing for Virginia Law Exam,prepare according to the blue print providing by the board.Please,read word by word,and you need to be thorough phase by phase . Also, read the Guide to Federal Pharmacy Law(5th Edition),by Barry Reiss and Garry Hall. With these two book you will pass. Wishing you good luck, Jasna.

Hi,Joae 1975 Don't get depressed,because this exam is difficult and as you said "very tricky".You are not only one who have taken three times FSDLE.Me too,failed twice and eventually I made it. Passing FSDLE getting more and more difficult . Also,it is very hard to be concentrate and memorize all details. Make sure ,you become thoroughly familiar with the study book.To prepare for the exam follow specified section within each chapter of the law. Don't skip anything!About the WV law ,I don't know. Hi Resu and my dear foreign graduate pharmacists! I have been a member of this forum for a long time,from FPGEE until my last exam(my last nightmare)FSDLE(Fedaral and State Drug Law Exam). First of all,Thanks everyone for sharing informations and giving encouragement.I 'm finally passed my last exam to become a licensed VA pharmacist. As someone says,my dream come true.I am so happy. Well,here is my thoughts about FDSLE: 1.Guide to Federal Pharmacy Law and FSDLE guide handbook should be enough but 2.You should carefully read the study guide and become thoroughly familiar with each chapter and selected laws and regulations,word by word.... 3.Pay attention much of state drug law rather than to federal law. Hi,Dolly! You need to learn the generic and trade names of the top 200 drugs.But,you need to learn the generic and trade name s for the unique drugs,which may not be among the top 200 drugs. I know there are many tablets in APHA but ,try to memorized as many as you can.It will take a time,it is not easy..I know. Knowledge of generic and trade name is essential to the patient medication profile on NAPLEX(10-15 questions) Good luck! Jasna.

Just keep studying,and in the next 5-7 days you will receive a letter from Personvue with the ATT(vaild for one year).After received the ATT,go to online to register or you can call to schedule your exam. I would highly recommended just three books. 1.The APhA complete review for pharmacy(4th edition) 2.Lange Q& A Pharmacy(by Gary Hall and Barry Reiss) 3.Pharmaceutical Calculations(by Manan Shroff) I would ,also,say,that you have to be very familiar with calculation.If not,don't even try take the Naplex.It is very good if you ready news and drug monographs about new drugs.For a example,like MPR Pharmacists' Edition,or just go on PrescibingReference.com,because they like to ask about the new drugs. I'm in Arlington,VA. I passed the Naplex from the first try.But,Virginia Fedreral and State Drug Law Examination(FSDLE) is really difficult,because the questions are very tricky . Good luck!

I have already failed this exam twice....Also,I agree that the material which they sent,Federal and State Drug Law examination handbook is not enough.I think ,it will be really helpful if Virginia Board of Pharmacy provide a preparation class or make just a simple book with sample questions. They say,that the Examination Handbook and a study guide is enough for preparing,but I don't think so.Especially for the foreign graduated pharmacist. I have no idea what we going to do....But,we don't have many options...just studing,and trying our the best. Good luck,all of us.
