  8. UK tax is about 40% (a major reason of relocation for alot of professionals especially in the medical field), plus there are alot of other payouts that do not exist in the USA such as road tax, TV licence, council tax (to the citty council in addition to rent) that have to be paid out every month... These all add up eventually.

    NAPLEX prep

This is my attempt at explaining the ans. 0.05mg/min means the patient will get 3mg/hr.They are allowed an additional 2mg bolus every hour (because of the lockout) hence they can have a maximum of 5mg/hour (2+3mg).Total dose =500mg, at 5mg/hour this should last them 100hours which approximates to 4 days.
  10. My experience with Sageda was the same as Pharmacist2005's in 2005.she gave me hope and kept asking where I wanted to work e.t.c.... Luckily I didn't put all my eggs in one basket and I kept looking elsewhere so when she went quiet I had already secured an internship with savon.
  11. Hi Tseveteran, congratulations!!!!i am sure you feel like a load has been lifted.i am preparing for NAPLEX, did you take the person vue/new naplex?is it true that th questions are different from what we are seeing in question and answer text books? Pharmjay
  12. About contacting recruiters, I advice keep trying to reach them by phone or email or any way possible. They are very busy people and may not return your calls but until they tell you no, do not give up. I sent alot of emails and kept phoning until I got through.
  13. Hi, my experience with internship interview was simple they asked me scenario questions e.g how to deal with employees if there is conflict or medication errors e.t.c i had a few questions about what reference sources to use if i didn't know the dosage or was not familiar with a drug.I had some clinical questions on diabetes treatment drugs too. My advice would be to be confident in what you answer, take time to think about your answers and imagine it as if you were already an RPH how you would handle your pharmacy, if its a face to face interview remember to appear proffessional. I did not get a questionnaire but then again it was 2 years ago so things might have changed. Good luck to you all and do not panic, if you made it through FPGEE you will pull through. Pharmjay
  14. I don't think so, CA board will only process your NAPLEX application forms after completing 1500 hours, that is what they told me.
